For younger children these kinds of rc toys can be a lot of fun! This little dino looks to me like it would be slow and plodding but it's actually quick and agile. Learning all the controls takes a little time and patience but even without knowing them all it's a blast to race across the floor or down the driveway. We have several rc type toys and this one is a favorite for it's looks and action on the wheels rotating up and down. Only time will tell how long it may last but it should go a couple years if it's not stepped on or dropped.

While I have used many remote control cars, this is my first time using this style. However, I can see why the design is popular and there are several different brands selling similar options. I cannot compare them since I only have this one, I can state that the quality and construction matches the price point well. I will not last 10 years, but it should endure at least a year of rough play or several years of moderate play. It does take some time to determine all of the controls, but that is also what allows it to transform and modify. It is best suited for indoors but it can be used outside on driveways or sidewalks, but it is not a true off-road vehicle. One feature we do like a great deal is that it comes with two battery packs. This is great since the charge does not last as long as some other remote control cars. It is not the best remote control vehicle, but it is fun and different. It is a good value at this price... particularly when there are some sales/discounts

It's cool because it's a dinosaur and a car! It sprays from the mouth and roars, how cool is that. I gave it to my nephew who loves dinos and he's having a blast with it. It's easy to control for him as the remote is user-friendly, with simple controls. The speed is just right—fast enough to be exciting but not too fast that it becomes uncontrollable. It races smoothly over various surfaces, whether indoors or outdoors, and even manages to tackle a few bumps but nothing crazy, it's not a monster truck. It appears to be fairly durable so far as he's run into walls quite a bit and he's rough with his toys. It still looks new. The battery life is ok, I haven't heard any complaints. I recommend for young boys that like dinos and remote control cars- they get two for one!

The dinosaur remote control car arrived well packaged. The car comes with two batteries; however, the remote requires two AA batteries, which are not provided. The car performs incredible acrobatics that are difficult to master and normally improve after a few days of use. My five-year-old enjoyed it, but correct control was not his strong suit.

The RC was easy to get going and in less than a few minutes the kids were able to play with it and see just what it could do. The kids had it in the house over tile and hard wood, took it out side, some concrete, mud, dirt, and some rocks, in every case the RC was great and the kids had a lot of fun just getting out side with it and seeing what they could do. The even tried building an obstacle course with things to see how it would do but never had time to finish it.
