this bag/box holds our 6.5 Christmas tree. zips up nicely and even has handles for carrying convenience. it has pockets on the side for flatter ornaments which is awesome. and if you have it stored on your porch or somewhere where it might rain or snow on it, its water proof which is great. this is more on the bag side of things so i wouldnt set things on top thinking it wont crush the tree. still have to be careful with that part ... show more

this fit out 7.5 tree great! i almost feel like i could have fit 2 trees in this bag! i wish the bag was more structured, but overall, no complaints. it does what it is supposed to do, and looks better in storage than the torn up original box. also has two buckle straps on the interior to strap in your tree(similar to suitcase interior straps)..recommend! ... show more

Several people mention that the bag doesn’t work for their 9 ft tree - and I can see that being the case if you have a full lush tree. We purchased a new 9 ft pencil tree (diameter 35”) because we just didn’t have space in our new downsized house. The tree fits in the bag easily and leaves room for some of my other items such as heavy garland. The bag doesn’t have a structured, supported shape, but the seams are sewn to a rectangular prism (that is, a long square shape). It would be better if there was some type of firm supportive bottom on the bag so that it would lay better on top of other storage boxes. We may attempt to reinforce the bottom. The bag itself seem well made, a good zipper, and tight seams. The fabric is a cross between plastic and cotton denim in feel and weight. It’s definitely plastic, but doesn’t feel like some that are seem like heavy trash bags. I think the bag is well priced for what you get. I recommend it. ... show more

    • A GREAT solution to an annual headache

I have unpacked and inspected this Christmas tree storage bag, but have not used it yet. It appears to be well made and sewed strongly, from good heavy-duty material, and it's large enough for a typical artificial holiday tree. Holiday decorating isn't my thing, but it makes the family happy so it must be done. And what's worse than decorating? Undecorating and putting all the stuff away again until next year. For six or eight years, I've been cramming our artificial Christmas tree into its original (and ever-deteriorating) cardboard box. I couldn't even guess how many yards of packing and strapping tape are holding that box together at this point. In late December, I look forward to tossing that box in the recycle bin as we pack our tree away in this new storage bag until next year! ... show more
