This toy is very durable and makes a fun noise as it rolls. My only down comment would be that it is difficult for my dogs (big pitties) to pick up and carry around thus they lose interest fast. I do feel that it will last for a long time tho.

My dog is a recent rescue that adores fetch and tug of war. He’s rather large😊. When the pkg arrived on Monday, he could hear the noise and got excited, as did my 7 lb cat. So we have my dog jumping and my little cat suddenly becoming a Warrior, screaming, hissing, and coming at me and the dog. At the same time, I’m trying to get the ball out of the box down from the island, bend down to push the dog away, and I got nailed. Screaming, hissing, all toe beans separated (did I mention she’s polydactyl?). She is on my head. Now I’m trying to get her off and get my beehind to the door with the dog/ball minus one very angry cat. Success. Dog is happy with the ball. Me? I feel wet on my neck and sure enough blood. Had to hold pressure for a bit, you know how much scalp wounds bleed. Conclusion: Beauregard is happy with his ball Outside. He is still trying to bring it inside, but I fear if he does, the ER is in my future. And Tilly? Back to being very sweet unless she hears the ball…. ... show more

It took nearly 2 months in which time they basically sniffed it once then ignored it. But suddenly, it's a thing and the one we really got it for is wearing herself out (trust me-this is a good thing) playing with it, another one is highly interested. Both have tails wagging. I love the ball in theory. However, there are only two holes so unless it’s rolled the right way it doesn’t make any sound. My beagle lost interest pretty quick because of that. If they had a hole on each side making that different sound, it probably would be better.

The noise is real different. In fact, the corgi next door is afraid of it. My neighbor’s bulldog loves it. My lab thinks it’s amazing! However, after the first day, while it’s his favorite toy, he mostly wants me to play too. Not by himself.
