Had to use a pliers to unbend one of the pieces so they would fit together as it had a big indent. The pictures show another indent on one of the spindles and a large scratch. There were a few other minor flaws. Those are the only negatives. We haven't used the bed yet as it is for our spare bedroom, but it seems to be very sturdy. It was packaged very nicely and wasn't too difficult to assemble. Don't tighten the screws all the way when you are putting together the headboard and footboard until you have them all started as you may have to adjust the fit a little to get the holes to line up. We received a bar with the hole only on one side so we couldn’t screw it through. THe bars underneath don’t touch the floor, they are all a little short. The pictures they used to show the bed showed the bars (3) all touching the floor.
