Bought with a worry it was a mistake--YET I needed to STOP using all the classic kitchen sponges sold by Costco (and other stores). --- These "cloths" --made of natural wood and bamboo--are the right size for cleaning dishes, wiping off counter top, cleaning the stove..just use as you would a nasty chemically-produced sponges. At night I douse them in soapy water, wring out & hang over my kitchen faucet. Clean smelling & ready for use next morning. When I want a deeper cleaning, while the cloth is still damp (from bath just given) I pop into microwave & on high, I microwave for 1 minute. If (lay over a plate or even a cup it's easier to pick up after microwave treatment which completely kills all bacteria, germs and, of course, odors! ------ Everyday sponges flat-out stink, quickly. Yes, I've always put on top drawer of dishwasher, regularly (as suggested by DIY mothers :)) like me) but odor was back by nightfall. AND commercial sponges (green, yellow & blue ones) pollute the environment with their fibers that do NOT decompose. Landfills are full of them. Hungry birds & other animals scavenging at the dump will eat some of any sponge if they're hungry enough and there's a dab of food on the sponge. These will NOT do well in their stomachs. --- Just give these a try. Maybe split the 3-pack with neighbors or use as stocking stuffers. Enjoy! ... show more

Have you seen "The Office" episode where Michael gives Meridith a 'one of everything' drink? Meredith's reaction to that drink is my reaction to this product. Oh. My. God! They absorb like a sponge, clean like dish rags, and are easy to use like paper towels. I have OCD and ADD and have to clean every nook and cranny I come across. These dish cloths get it all. They do not leave residue or crumbs or dust or dirt behind. They get it all!!!! And I can wring them out, put them in the dishwasher to sanitize, and use them all over again. I used to only clean with paper towels, but I have saved money using these dish cloths. And no more paper towel dust left behind on my mirrors or counters! I've cleaned everything in my house with these dish cloths. I am going to buy more designs. That way, I have a dedicated set for the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room!!! ... show more

These are the best dishcloths. They never smell and when they get dirty you can clean them in the dishwasher. Throw them away when you are done with them!

I’ve been using the same one cloth for 3 months and it’s showing no signs of giving up. I expected it to disintegrate so I bought multiple but this is super long lasting. Also, as long as you let it dry out, it never gets smelly and gross. We did have one that always ended up in the sink sitting it water and it got mildewy smelling but that was our fault. After a wash in the normal washing machine, it is fine again. I know you can wash them in the dishwasher, but I don’t like the results. I just toss it in the regular wash with my kitchen hand towels and that’s fine. I have cut back VERY considerably on paper towel use. Really love these.
