What do I mean with a twist? I got this to connect the output on the back of a Rodecaster Duo to the aux input on a Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro wireless DAC for monitoring headphones. The cable itself has a sturdy but not soft nylon/plastic weaved sheath. The problem I found was I have to turn the headphone jack in order to eliminate hum and get the left channel to work. This could be a result of either warping or bad connection inside the connector itself. If I turn it and do not jostle, it works fine. IF the cable turns in the slightest, however, I can have sound drops. There are no interference/static issues so far. Will update as I get to the bottom of it. ... show more

I don't like the texture of the cable, it looks like fabric but feels rough like woven plastic. It would be nice if it was softer, like fabric that's woven around nicer cables. Otherwise it's a cable and does what it should, no issues with the plugs or sound quality.

I needed a way to connect my amp to my laptop in order to record voice and guitar for a video trailer I'm doing for a puppet show, and this takes my amp's 1/4" jack down to the mini pin, just as I needed. I did need to purchase an adapter, before I could plug it in--my laptop's mini pin port is for output only--but after the additional purchase of a USB external stereo sound adapter, it works great. ... show more
