I am using this to fill my car tires and it works very well. I did a lot of research and finally decided on this inflator. If you read the 1 star reviews which I always read first, your apt to never buy anything but you learn to weed out the people who just like to complain and you have to figure there will always be a percentage of defective product. I took a chance on this and so far I am very happy. The inflator seems to be consistent which is more important to me than how accurate it is calibrated. When I check my BMW tire levels through the car computer all four tires are the same after I use this inflator. What I really like about this inflator is it shows the pressure down to a tenth of a pound so if I over fill I can just push the deflate button and it drops it a tenth at a time per each push of the button. This makes it really easy to get all my tires exact. When I put the device on my valve stem sometimes it will leak but it is very quick and easy to just turn it until it stops. I also did a lot of research on hoses and I am very happy with my Flexilla 1/4" air hose.

I've owned many gauges over the years and was probably too cheap to buy a good one. This one seems to work very well for me. I use it on all of our vehicles especially our fifth wheel camper and towing truck. It comes with all the hardware to connect it and use right away. So far so good with accuracy.

I purchased this tire inflator for our oil change business and so far it has worked great! I really love that it takes simple AAA batteries vs button batteries like most take that are expensive and do not last long. The gauge is accurate and so far we have had no issues with it and trust me any tire gauge with us is a daily torture test due to the volume of vehicles that come through our business. We bought this gauge two months ago and we are open six days a week and average 50 vehicles + per day and we check and set tire pressures on every single vehicle so thats 47 actual days this has been used now since we received it so thats 45 x 50 =2,250 vehicles x 4 tires per vehicle = 9,000 times this gauge has been on and off of valve stems and zero issues with it so far! No hose issues, no leaks, no calibration issues and never a vehicle returned with the TPMS light on. As for some other reviews about it leaking on a valve stem while your not holding onto it...it isn't the gauge thats the issue...its your style of valve stem...there are simply some styles of valve stems that gauges dont lock onto properly without holding them on manually and it mainly has to do with how far back the stem is threaded before the stem has a ridge. I have been in the automotive business for 35 years and have never found a tire gauge with a stem lock that works on every valve stem without leaking and this should never be a reason for complaint....sorry. We are going to buy more of this same gauge for our new shop as well.

This gauge was delivered two weeks ago. Since then, I've had a chance to use it on RV tires, automobile tires, trailer tires, lawn tractor tires, lawn trailer tires, and bicycle tires. I have several other gauges and pressure sensors that generally agree with each other, but I thought this inflator would be more convenient to use than individual gauges and compressor tire chucks. I found this is MUCH more convenient to use - and much faster than what I had been doing. Now I just attach my compressor to this inflator, add air to the tire until it is slightly above my desired pressure, then slowly release air (using button on inflator) until I get the right pressure. With 0.1PSI resolution, I can get right down to where I want the pressure. This is very convenient. However, there are two "gotchas". Problem #1 is the supplied tire chuck. I have had trouble in getting it to form an airtight seal on tire valves unless it is being held in place. I have other chucks that will snap onto a tire valve and not leak. Unfortunately, the chuck supplied with this inflator did not attach securely to any of the tires I tested. I had to squeeze the lever to open, push chuck over the tire valve firmly, and release the lever to lock in place - sadly air would leak unless I kept pressure on the chuck. Problem #2 is absolute accuracy. The gauge I got reads 1.4 PSI high. If I inflate a tire to 31.4 PSI using this inflator, my other gauges will indicate the tire is at 30psi. This difference is within the manufacturer limit of plus-or-minus 1% of full scale - which means plus or minus 2.5 PSI. It is off by about 1.7 PSI at a working pressure of 90 PSI. I didn't check accuracy for lawn tractor tires which are around 14 PSI (not as critical there). I wish there was a way to calibrate the gauge more precisely. Although I don't trust the absolute accuracy of the gauge, I did find it was quite repeatable. I could measure the same tire multiple times and get pressures plus-or-minus 0.1 or 0.2 variation. This allows me to feel confident that multiple tires can be inflated to the same pressure. While I wish this particular gauge did not read 1.4 PSI high, overall it was a reasonable purchase. I'll be keeping it. There is much to like: the dial is clear and easy to read, good battery indication, auto shut-off, nice long hose (though having a swivel connector would have been beneficial), has a good solid feel in your hand, robust - not worried about it disintegrating from use, valves work well over a wide pressure range (14 to 95 PSI), standard air hose fitting included, and a very reasonable price.
