  • Beautiful piece of furniture - Super piano from a brand I did not know
Color: FEP1000 Weighted Digital Piano Beige
First of all, I'm not a professional, but have been playing casually since 8 years old off and on. Since my first apartment, I've always had digital pianos to protect the ears of others around me. Usually, my pianos have been Casios, and I do still have a high end Casio which I play. But as I'm furnishing a new space, I wanted to get something nicer. I was planning to get a real acoustic piano, before I saw this Black Friday deal and took a chance on a brand I never heard of - Fesley. All the Youtube videos and reviews talked about the Fesley keyboard only - which looks different from the controls on this, but were overwhelmingly positive. So I took a chance, knowing the generous return policy if I didn't like it. It arrived in a giant box - well packed on the stairs of my home. What I was not expecting was the weight. Moving the box is not a one-person job. So, I decided to unpack the components to carry and assemble the parts up a flight of stairs. Once again, not for the average one-person. This keyboard is HEAVY. Not just a keyboard, but surrounded by wood, which makes it more like a piece of furniture. Most digital keyboards are about 15-20 pounds. This felt over 50 pounds. Managed to get it up a flight of stairs with the other pieces and assembled it. Not much to do. The only confusing part was the backboard which was not predrilled, just indented. Apparently you are supposed to poke the screws through. I thought I needed to drill which was not the case. Everything lined up and was well manufactured. The final trick was laying the keyboard on the assembled stand. GET HELP. Don't attempt to do it by yourself. Too easy to drop the heavy keyboard if it's not perfectly aligned. Put on the rear screws for the keyboard, but leave the two front screws until the decorative legs are on. You will need to push through the dowel into the stand, then lift the front of the keyboard to align and slip in the two dowels on top. Once on, then tighten the keyboard screws to the stand. There is a single cord connecting the three pedals. It plugs into the bottom of the keyboard instead of the back, which confused me because there is a separate pedal plug in the back. First I thought I had the wrong connector until I found the plug at the bottom. Impressions: What a great piece of furniture. Looks great against my natural hardwood floors. Just blends in. I love the built in cover. No more sloppy dust covers (it came with a purple dust cover - Not intended for this unit, but for the keyboard alone. I'll use it on my Casio). The dust cover has an elegant strip of gold paint when it closes. The stand is solid wood and super stable. Not the cheap plastic stands that I'm used to with digital keyboards. Everything about this keyboard is heavy beautifully finished wood. Not at all what I was expecting at this price point. I can move it and it feels solidly put together. I'm not used to a built in stand. Makes it feel like a real piano. And the damper pedal STAYS IN PLACE - not wandering around like you usually have when you have a keyboard and pedal combination. This is not a portable unit. You're not traveling with this. It's staying in the home. Sound quality and play - I'm not a professional. The weighted keys feel good. I think the weighted keys on the casio are a little superior - the higher keys feeling lighter than the lower ones - similar to that of an acoustic. But I was able to play fine on this. No longer in an apartment, I cranked up the volume to the max. The sound is incredible. I was expecting a blaring sound at max. But no. The softs are softs, the louds are loud when you play hard. The speakers are the best I've ever had on a digital piano - two twenty watt - from the description. I had planned to spend 10 minutes testing and stayed playing for an hour. My one con is the control panel - a flat black panel with similar looking buttons. and nothing physical. I would have preferred a more intuitive layout with more spacing. If you think you'll be constantly changing volume and voices as you're playing, you may want to consider the keyboard alone - which appears to have a different layout. But since I'm using Grand Piano sound (number 001) most of the time, this is not a concern for me. Overall, this was a phenomenal value which surprised me and saved me thousands in buying an acoustic piano for now. I would highly recommend this for anyone with kids taking lessons for the first time. Always perfectly in tune and with the sound and feel of a real piano. I would buy this again in a second from this completely unknown brand. What a joy and unexpected surprise. ... show more

  • Great Piano
Color: FEP1000 Weighted Digital Piano Black
Packaged carefully, great piano, great sound. Keys are weighted, feel great. We replaced this with an old standard piano and it’s so much better. So far we had it about 6 weeks and it’s being played daily, no issues. Looks beautiful. Easy set up. Highly recommend.

  • Great piano! But missing the cord to connect the pedals to it
Color: FEP1000 Weighted Digital Piano Beige
The piano sounds great and it was shipped really fast and in great packaging, but after setting up the piano I realized I didn’t have the cord that connects to the pedals up to the keyboard so I cannot use the pedals for it currently. I’m not sure if it was meant to be that way or I’m just missing that chord, I was trying to figure out how to contact and get the cord for it but no options to get help with that. I would update to 5 stars if I could, but missing the pedal cord definitely takes some points away. ... show more

  • Good acquisition!
Color: FEP1000 Weighted Digital Piano Beige
The media could not be loaded. Beautiful piece of furniture, sturdy and easy to mount. Great piano simulator with hammer weighted action keys. The functionalities are endless and pretty satisfying. It comes with some brief piano references for chords and sheet reading. The pedal works fine. The stand however can be a little hard to mount. ... show more

  • Good quality keyboard
Color: FEP300 Semi-Weighted Digital Piano Brown
I played piano when I was young, but I haven’t in many years. I decided that I want to start playing again, so I bought this keyboard instead of an actual piano. I didn’t want just a black color, so I chose this wood grain. It really looks nice! Works great, sounds great, has a pretty nice volume level, and it’s not overly heavy. Come with headphones, which is great for practice, if someone wants to watch television in the same room. I would definitely buy this again. ... show more

  • I want to love it, but can't...
Color: FEP1000 Weighted Digital Piano Black
First off, it looks even better in person than in the listing! It's heavy and seems solid once put together. As far as the sound quality, I'm still undecided. It sounds “ok”, but I've heard better in other digital pianos that cost just a bit more. There are a few other things that in my opinion, detract from it being great. The first being the controls. As someone else mentioned, it really should have a numbered keypad. There are no shortcuts to get you where you want to go. If you want timbre # 129, you’re scrolling from 001 to 129. Having Bluetooth, an phone app that would let you tailor and set your own defaults would be even better. That Bluetooth btw, will not let you connect wireless headphones or earbuds - The foot pedals are nice, but the sustain pedal for me is severely over-sensitive. Press it more than the first half inch of travel, and everything is muddied. – A couple of other minor concerns that shouldn’t have been, include the Volume setting not being stored after a session, and the power not automatically shutting off after not being used for a set time. Not big issues, but definitely not as polished as other units out there. – I’m also not a big fan of the “touch” sensitivity of the keys on this one. The weight effect is also “ok”, but unless the volume is turned down quite a bit from default, no matter how soft I play a key, the resulting tone seems to be either “on” or “off”. I’ll reach out to support to see if they have solutions, but from some of the other reviews, I don’t expect any fixes. I haven’t yet decided if I’ll keep it and this is primarily because of the functionality of the sustain pedal which I use a lot. However, all in all, it’s a decent instrument that is absolutely gorgeous! ... show more

  • Great sound!
Color: FEP300 Semi-Weighted Digital Piano Brown
I bought this for my teenage daughter for her birthday and she loves it. Not only are there tons of sound options, but she can attach a microphone and also record with it. On top of that, it's very sturdy construction and also looks nice! I do advise that you get a stand for it right away though. It's a good size and right now it's taking up one side of our dining room table. ... show more

  • Very nice for the price!
Color: FEP1000 Weighted Digital Piano Black
Easy assembly, nice sound quality, space saver, and very affordable ! I am a piano teacher and love the weight of the keys. Nice to be able to play with headphones to not disturb. I have played many many brands of digital and acoustic pianos, and this is just as good as the high ticket ones! Hoping it lasts for many years. ... show more
