    • Great frame, I wish the app would allow you to upload more than 9 photos at a time though.
We recently scanned/restored my grandmothers photos and uploaded over 500 of the images to this frame. She absolutely loves it. The frame is well made (it doesn't look like cheap plastic) and the image quality is excellent. Just a few minor issues - 1) the iOS app only allows you to upload 9 images at a time. We ended up downloading the desktop version and it was much easier. 2). It couldn't read an SD card loaded with images. It recognized the card, but delivered an error message. That said, the internal card stored over 500 images without issue, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. All-in-all, this was a great purchase and I highly recommend it. I bought one of these earlier this year. It works great, for the most part. Initially I had it running 23h59m each day. However, it gets locked up if you do that. I would then unplug it & let it sit for a a day or so before plugging it in again. So I rescheduled it to turn it off for about 5 hours while sleeping, which is reasonable, & it hasn't locked up since. For this reason, though, I only gave it 4 stars. I loaded up all the family photos that I had previously scanned (about 350 so far) & have them set up as a slide show. I initially bought it because my brother moved in with me. He has dementia, & the photos are a great way to remind him of our childhood & extended family. He remembers quite a bit of them, but his short-term memory is affected more than a little & he does get confused sometimes. It keeps him asking questions about them & reminiscing, which helps to keep him engaged. I really enjoy seeing the photos, too, with certain ones just lighting me up (my BABY! (who is 51 now))! My sister is impressed, too. I just now bought another one for her birthday later this month at her request. She wants it set up exactly the same. One thing to keep in mind is that the plug must be put it in EXACTLY right. It must be pushed in all the way to the hilt so it is even with the back of the frame. Everything is black, though, so it's hard to see if you have it exactly right - you need light. The tabs are shaped to go in all the way only one way. I recommend using a sticker or some other marking to line up for future use once you have it in all the way. ... show more

I got this digital frame as a Christmas gift from my husband because he knows I'm obsessed with photos. I love how you can integrate this with an app and also send a specialized app code to your friends so they can also submit photos. It's very easy and it's great to know you can easily switch out photos if you like. A nice way to capture memories, show them off in your home and share them with others. ok. this is a warning - DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT first off, this unit is built super super cheap. very cheap and thin plastic back. and the "stand" which doubles as the charger is very cheesy and would not withstand even casual usage without breaking. So I tried to load photos from a smart phone. the app took forever and does not work. tried to contact the "developer" and got no response. I've developed software for many platforms for many years and I'd say these folks do not test anything. pure garbage. so i tried the sim card method to get photos into the frame. the operating system is a hot holy mess, but you can upload to the frame from a sim card. but warning - it blows if the image is too large. how large is too large? nothing says what the limit is it just blows. so I had to resize all my photos, but that was ok because the screen resolution is not very good. navigating is ok, except for one fault. That is, pretty much every time I tried to access the gallery (thumbnails) it blew up. by blow up I mean system crashes and autoboots. honestly, I've had a lot of crap products come from Amazon but this is by far the very worst I've ever seen. DO NOT BY THIS PRODUCT p.s. as soon as this review is posted, this puppy is going back. ... show more

We gave this to my mom who is in a nursing home. Once I set it up and added some pictures for her, I worked with the family so they could wirelessly send her pictures, too. V location oh, of course, must have Wi-Fi. The frame dings and receives a notification when a new picture arrives. It doesn't stay there as long as I would like. Pictures can have captions describing who's in the picture or where it's located. Users should use their own name when signing on to the app because that's what shows up under the caption. I have suggested that the caption be movable and the color changed because sometimes it can't be read due to the background color. The recipient doesn't have to do anything but click on the pictures. There is also a gallery that can be opened so they can revisit pictures they like. ... show more
