It takes good quality photos, has a pretty good battery life, and is sturdy! She has dropped it multiple times but the shell of the camera has a kind of rubbery quality to it and it is still in perfect working condition. The only thing my 2 kids (6 & 7) wanted for Christmas was a camera! One wanted black and the other pink. Thankful this camera comes in multiple colors. They've not put them down since Christmas. They've held up extremely well even with being dropped multiple times. My oldest who can read is easily able to figure out all the settings and features. It is very user friendly.
