The first gage came in had no batteries, so I tried some that I had and the gage would not work or turn on. So I contacted Amazon and they sent me another gage and it had batteries with it and it came on just fine, so I took the batteries and tried the one I was sending back and it came on also. The gage worked great

My unit appears to always show a 0.2 degree bias to the left when on a level surface (I can turn the unit 360 degrees on a level plane and always see the same bias). This is actually not bad considering the low price, and you can always use the zero function to get relative angle. They claim a 0.2 degree tolerance - I am estimating it's closer to 0.4. If this difference matters to you, I would recommend not buying the cheapest digital level on Amazon. Pretty solid considering the low cost, and more accurate than a phone ap. Bought to help level a pinball machine.

I like the light up LCD screen and the controls. The magnets are not very strong but do work. When I took this out of the box the batteries that were included did not power the unit. Not a deal breaker .

I agree with Brian below. I have 2 machinist squares (very accurate) sitting on a leveled table saw table and it reads both of them at 0 degree on one plane and 88.2 on the other. That's pretty much impossible that both squares are out exactly the same amount. There not ! It's the digital angle finder. I should have spent more on a better one which is what I plan on doing now. If you want high accuracy ,keep shopping.
