  • Does The Job
I have a Quest 3 that I keep in a case when I'm not using it, but it can't be charged inside the case. That means it's frequently sitting out. The Quest lenses have a coating that is apparently very sensitive, and sunlight entering the lenses can damage the display (like ants under a magnifying glass), so I decided I needed something to protect them. This cover is well-padded and has a soft exterior. It fits right into the facial interface on my Quest 3 and doesn't fall out of it. I feel confident with it inserted that sunlight won't get in there and that my cats won't see something shiny to mess with. ... show more

  • Nothing special, but they do what they advertise
I'm a little torn on this review. I want to rate them lower just out of principle, but I can't because they do do what they advertise. I'll start by saying that I'm removing one star simply because of the price. It is simple a soft sponge with a microfiber cover. This should cost half the $10 asking price. As to the rest of it, yes, it does what it advertises on the product description. It fits snugly and securely in my Valve Index HMD and it protects the lenses from dust and direct sunlight. Could you achieve the same result by stuffing a large microfiber cloth into the headset? Absolutely. But here's the thing, this is so easy to put in and take out and it fits snuggly so it is actually kind of nice to use and feels like it "belongs." I will say that you do have to press it down onto the lenses and make sure it is a complete fit and it covering the lenses properly. I would say it would be worth the price if it was actually molded to fit the eyepieces properly, but then you wouldn't have a "universal" product and would have to make different ones for different headsets. So, in that regard because it is simply designed it makes it more universal and you could easily continue to use it even if you got a different headset. Bottom line, can I recommend this? Sort of yes. If $10 isn't too much for you, to have a modicum of protection of your lenses, then yes, I would recommend it. If you would rather get something more custom, I would recommend you look at other products. ... show more

  • Keeps dust out
It's a simple lens protector, does it's job fine. Keeps the dust and other stuff out and easy to insert into the headset.

  • Fits great
So, I'm not sure how in depth of a review is required here - its a pillow that fits inside your Quest 3 ocular area and protects the lenses from things bumping and scraping them. Its literally an elliptical pillow. Having said that though, it fits exactly, and works perfectly fine. Recommended if you travel with your Quest and want to make sure things don't bump around inside your carrier and possibly make contact with the lenses. ... show more

  • Good protection for my Quest 3.
My Quest 3 headset lives on a charging dock in our Florida room and I recently read about how sunlight can damage the lenses. Since it's such a bright room that gets a ton of direct sunlight I figured I should probably take some steps to protect the lenses and screens from the sun as well as from any potential scratches during travel. This digicharge lens protector is a good solution. There's really not much to it. It's basically a soft fabric-covered piece of foam, and that's it. It just sorta tucks inside the goggles and sits against the lenses while being held in place by the face pad. If fits in there nicely and I don't see any way for light to leak in, so it seems to be doing a great job of protecting the lenses. I don't travel much with my headset but I'm confident the pad will stay in place with the headset in its carrying case. Overall I think it's a good solution and for $7.99 (at the time of this review) I think that's a pretty good deal for the protection it provides. ... show more

  • Protects the Lens From Dust and Light
It fits nice and snuggly in both my original and my wider third-party facial interface. It is also completely opaque so that bright light especially sunlight doesn't damage the sensitive displays. No complaints as it does exactly what is a meant to do. My suggestion for improvement would be to offer it in a neon color so that I see it more clearly and remove it before I put it on my face; I on occasion put smooshed it on face without knowing. ... show more

  • Perfect fit
This fit my Quest 3 perfectly. It's fairly soft and creates a good seal to prevent dust from entering when I'm not using it. If you don't store your VR headset in a case, I would recommend you get something like this to protect the lenses and reduce the need to clean dust off them (which helps prevent scratches). This is a great option and I definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • Great Protector for Valve Index, Not as Flush as I Would Like
I was looking for a lens protector for my Valve Index and this does what it advertises, though it is not a flush as I would like it to be and bows outward still exposing the bottom of the lenses to light or dust. A little disappointed that the price changed after ordering to a lower price, most likely due to other feedback indicating the price was a bit too high. Outside of that, it is better then nothing at all, and does not scratch the lenses when it is pushed in. Just wish it was a bit more flush against the lenses. But this is to be expected, when something is designed for multiple VR headsets. ... show more
