Description

Differin Maximum Strength Acne Foaming Cleanser is a cream to foam acne face wash and body wash designed specifically for acne-prone skin. Formulated with 10% benzoyl peroxide (BPO), the strongest OTC strength concentration without a prescription, it starts working immediately to help clear acne while also preventing future breakouts. This dual-action formula acne wash can be used for face and all over body, including chest and back, helping you target and cleanse acne breakouts where they can pop up most. Micronized benzoyl peroxide penetrates into the skin to eliminate most acne-causing bacteria, resulting in longer-lasting clearer skin, and has shown to be less irritating than traditional non-micronized benzoyl peroxide formulas. Use as a part of your daily cleansing routine to assist with acne treatment. Apply to wet skin and gently massage for about 20-30 seconds, avoiding the eye area. Rinse the facial cleanser and body cleanser thoroughly and pat dry for best results. Start with one application daily and gradually increase to two or three times a day as needed.

It works! Trust me, it does. I have a mega beauty box full of products that did absolutely NOTHING for me when my acne decided to flare up terribly in my 30’s (as a teen it wasn’t nearly as bad) my doctor called it adult hormonal acne. I have SUPER oily skin and I actually like that this product does in fact dry my skin out. In the beginning the dry skin is much worse but over time it gets better yet still keeps the oil at bay. Consistency is KEY though, I use it twice a day and even if I do still get the occasional pimple they disappear quickly and aren’t nearly as bad as before. Works well if you have oily skin, otherwise it will make your face very dried. The 10% seems more effective compared to others and does good job to try and prevent acne. The face wash creates foamy bubbles. The face wash also doesn’t have much scent other than I think the smell of the ingredients.

Definitely works but dried my skin out terribly. I wouldn’t recommend using this face wash and then applying a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream on top like I did or else you’ll feel like you just got a chemical peel from hell.
