  • Compactness without loss of function
I write software and essays; and prior to this, I was using a TKL (by Razor). Using this keyboard was a big experiment for me because it is so much smaller than the TKL. The smaller footprint of this keyboard has been great for desk use, but it remained to be seen if it would deliver on everything I need from a keyboard for my workflow. I'm happy to report that yes, it does, and I am very pleased with it after a solid week of using it for work. First, the switches and keycaps are so much better than the ones on my TKL. I do use the arrow keys a lot in my workflow, which now have to be accessed via the Fn key layer, but I got used to that quickly. I've always used the Super (i.e., Windows) key combinations for window management in a tiling WM, but soon found out that I could not use Super in combination with any key on the Fn layer -- because Fn+Super DISABLES the Super key! (It's just a toggle so you can re-enable it.) Remapping some of the Super key combos for my WM solved this issue. (Rant: Having the ability to disable the Super key seems to be to be entirely a waste that serves no practical purpose. Other keyboards do this and I would like to see that removed from this keyboard.) Finally, at some point, it seemed as if the Fn key was stuck and I was perpetually in the Fn layer. It turns out that at some point in typing too fast I must have hit the Space bar while still having Fn depressed. Fn+Space will lock you into the Fn layer. This combo is a toggle too so that's how I got out. The LED backlighting is nice. It has only one color: green (which is precisely what I wanted). I'm not a gamer and don't like the various "dancing lights" modes they have, but you might. Fortunately for me, there is a "keep the LED light constantly on" mode. The light shines well through the lettering in the keycaps so they are easy to read in any lighting conditions (and there is a dimmer for the light intensity). I haven't done this yet, but this keyboard would definitely be a great road-dog keyboard. This is not a wireless keyboard so you'd have to deal with the cord. However, the manufacturer's site indicated they sell a wireless version of this same keyboard. So, if that's what would stop you, check the other offering out. The feel and response (and typing sound!) of this keyboard is an incredible joy. I consider it an amazing deal considering its quite low price! ... show more

  • Not my main keyboard, but it’s still good.
Size: Quiet Red Switch Color: Black
Got this for my close-friends brother for his birthday. He said he likes it, it’s not too loud and the clickyness is satisfying. The weight of the keyboard is light, due to the face it’s about 1/3 of the size of a regular keyboard. The design looks like a regular keyboard, sleek and nice. Also the LED’s on the keyboard look clean and high quality. For the keyboard functionality, it works great. The casing it comes in is nice, and is well put together. ... show more

  • Great feel
Size: Quiet Red Switch Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Very good and arrived ass excepted with great sounds and beautiful looks. Comes with a long braided cord and a keycap puller, it did scratch my space bar with it tho so i’d recommend getting a better one, but overall amazing purchase and definitely worth the money!!

  • READ BEFORE YOU BUY!! (This has WHAT!?)
Ok so I did quite a bit of research comparing gaming keyboards, I looked into several including the ducky, Anne pro, hk61, dk61,etc. after researching for 10 plus hours I settled on this keyboard. There are some very key things to know about this board, first and for most, the software is highly suspicious. At such a low price one must wonder why they decided to add a microphone to this board for the rgb. Yes it adds a cool feature as your keyboard can follow music, but as I will get to later, this is honestly a great feeling board, and there is no reason why a company would spend the extra money to add a speaker when it would probably sell just as well without. I’m not usually a person to be extra scared of someone spying on me maliciously as I already have incorporated many smart devices into my setup, but this has me on the rope. In addition the keyboard does NOT turn off its lights when my computer turns off which leads me to believe they could be attempting to gather continuous data. (Also the light annoy me when I want my office to be dark. I now just unplug the board when I’m done. I could dive deeper into some theories as to why the company might be collecting audio data, but tbh I’m still quite baffled and don’t want to start rumors. But to sum up my suspicions their software (which is known to be extremely bellow par) mixed with an on board microphone brings this keyboard down a lot. On the good side this keyboard feels absolutely fantastic. It is a joy to play with and the gateron brown switches that it came with feel smooth and responsive. I play many different games and it exceeds all my expectations in games like Modern Warefare, CS Go, Fortnite, and fells great in random steam games too. The RGB looks great and comes with around 8 pre set patterns. The keys themselves feel good to touch tho I am admittedly a fan of double shot hardened key caps. I find them decently soft but not soft like rubber caps. I also like the fact that the key caps and switches can be removed and replaced with standard optical switches and popular caps. The weight and size of the board is quite nice but I do wish it came with extendable feet. Keymove decided that a microphone was worth including but not feet? Like even cheaper keyboards come with feet including several Walmart specials I have tried in the past. I don’t know about the waterproof quality the board boasts because I rarely play under water, but for you under water gamers out there, this could be a good option. I also like the USB C to USB 2.0 connection braided cord it came with. It’s a little short but with the incorporation of YSB C, it seems keymove is thinking of the future that is now. I do recommend the brown switches as the reds feel really soft and less responsive in my opinion and blues are dumb loud and offer less forgiveness in your movement. I also recommend NOT downloading the companies software and drivers as they don’t effect the typing abilities of the board and can stop keymove from collecting audio data. To sum it up, the microphone and software are the big downfalls of this board. I would have also liked to see some metal support on the board but remember the bad boy is only $50, so that’s pretty picky. The keyboard feels very nice to play with and can be compared to much more expensive boards. I do recommend the board, just proceed with caution. ... show more
