I waited till february to do some roof repairs on my EPDM roof when it is cooler here in Florida. This material is very soft and sticky. The clear membrane over the rubber would not come off. I was literally pulling the rubber layer apart as I attempted to remove the clear membrane. My solution was to freeze the material. Once frozen or at least very cold, the clear membrane came off easily and cleanly. However I did not want to come down to the freezer for each piece. So I placed the roll in the freezer and after about 10 minutes, I placed it in a cooler with ice. I took the cooler onto the roof with me and this enabled me to pull the material I needed while leaving the remaining material in the cooler. This Dicor Self Adhesive Rubber Roof Repair Membrane work real good . It covered the hole in the roof, Was easy to put down ,just had to make sure the old surface was clean before you pot the new one down I an very please with this Dicor rubber roof repair product

Save your money. Buy the fabric, and adhesive instead. Would give it -5 stars if I could. Only good for small square holes. Anything more, and you will have problems. There were wrinkles in roll, that don't come out. The tape wasn't on straight left 2" gap on side, and 4" gap at front. This stuck to box, and had to be cut off. Glue sticks to everything but what you want it to. Protective tape is hard to start, rolls back in place, rips, and is only non-sticky on one side. So if when it roll back, and it flips to the other side it will stick. You have only one shot to get this where you want. Press down with roller in one long stroke. From bottom to top or you will get air bubbles. Not a good product. ... show more

Worked well to repair tares in my rubber roof from tree branches. Advice, stay away from tree branches with RV rubber roofs. If you have serious problems getting in an RV site with trees try another site or another RV camp ground. Good Luck!

I had some damage to the roof of my motor home and although it did not leak it did not look good at all. This product was easy to use, easy to apply and made the roof and the motorhome itself look a lot better.
