I love this soap. I’ve always avoided this brand because their fragrances can be strong, but when I saw this three‑pack of aloe at an affordable price, I decided to take a chance. Since fragrance sensitivities vary from person to person, if you are really sensitive, I suggest finding it in a store and giving it a sniff first. At first, the scent caught me off guard—it has a slightly floral note. Since real aloe doesn’t have a natural smell, every company creates its own version of an “aloe” fragrance, usually meaning fresh and clean. This one is very pleasant once you get used to it. The texture is great—not watery at all. It’s thick, lathers well, and doesn’t disappear the moment you start washing. Because it’s thicker, you end up using less, so it lasts longer. I have sensitive skin and it works well for me, but sensitivities vary from person to person and mine is not severe. As a parent of a medically fragile adult daughter, handwashing is constant in our home, and this soap doesn’t seem nearly as drying as others. This soap, as some have commented, does seem watery at first, but the directions tell you to squeeze some into hand and then add water as needed. With other soaps, I usually wet my hands first - then dispense soap - lather and rinse & dry. This soap works better if you squeeze some into dry hand so it doesn't run right out, then work into as much of a lather as you can, then add a little water to get more lather, then rinse & dry. At first I too was wasting more of this soap than I had to. If you follow their directions, it works pretty well, but I'm not sure yet whether I'll buy again. The order came with three bottles, so I won't have to decide any time soon. The scent is okay, and it does get your hands clean -- just seems to take a little more effort than other liquid soaps. ... show more

My members of the family with small children sometimes are not fans of receiving more “things” for their home. That includes everything from toys to books to clothing. So. What to do? Adults with small children need antibacterial soap and lots of it! I purchased the four bottle pump set to go with these refills as a family gift. They welcomed the gift with a great deal of laughter :D and real appreciation! The soap is temporary, so it does not have to live there forever. They love the fresh scent, ease of use and quality. Mostly they loved knowing they have one thing off their parent to-do list and I think they will smile and the joke will live on every time they use it.
