I rec'd this on wed, oct 1, and literally a week later (the next tuesday), I noticed a deep scratch on the front cover. And I am not rough on it. I had a different brand before—also with a built-in screen protector, but this one offerred a totally clear option for my 17 pro. I compared the screen protector parts, and this one seemed almost like flimsy plastic compared to the more heavy-duty glass in the miracase (which I had for 2 years with no scratching.) The outer edges look fairly clear/white (cloudy), as they were very thick when the front and back were both installed on the phone, which looked fine from the back and sides, but was a thick, almost cloudy border around my phone from when viewed from the front. One good thing about this is it is easier to hold on to on the sides. I also liked that it has a cutout on the right side for the new side camera control instead of a button that could be accidentally bumped/pressed. the free replacement (from the actual company) was quick and easy, though! If you try this one, be sure to take care of the cover, and know that it's likely you will need a (free) replacement at some point (took less than 5 days.) As far as yellowing around the sides, I did not have it long enough to comment, but I think that would be covered too for replacement. I have also been told to use wet wipes (with alcohol, not sanitizer or soap & water) to wipe down the edges weekly so dirt, sweat, finger oils, etc. can't build up. Also extremely sensitive and no issues with face ID. Good luck! ... show more

I bought another very expensive case. That one had a camera button on the side that was ‘notched’ level with the case. So every time I picked-up my phone my fingers naturally set it off. It got so bad that I tore the plastic notch/button off. Worked for awhile, but the case didn’t seem as protective after that. I remembered the Diaclara case and bought it. So so glad I did. The color is baby blue. So pretty without feeling like it’s too rugged. It has an opening for the camera button, not an actual plastic button over it. This means my fingers can touch it without setting off the camera. I love this case so much that I bought another one as a replacement since these cases do get a work out! ... show more

Wish I could rate this a 3.5 because I'm not convinced this deserves a 4 star review, but maybe higher than just a 3? I purchased this in late 2023. Maybe via current standards, I should be thankful that this survived almost 2 years, but I'm not impressed by less than two years of viability, especially when this case has zero bells and whistles. It's not like a magnet went bum or the stand got weak. My case started to fail a couple months ago, and now, the back plastic portion is totally detached from the rubber/plastic buffer on one side. I just don't trust it to protect the phone if it falls now. The edges *definitely* darken/stain VERY quickly, though I didn't care about that terribly much. It's protected the phone through a lot of adventures and falls, so no complaints there. I've just never had a case specifically meant for heavy use fail this quickly. I've had to retire every case I've ever purchased only when I had to get a different phone -- except this one. This is the first that failed to the point where I needed to replace it in order to protect the phone's lifespan. And that's due to functionality. Folks who are worried about staining and appearance will almost certainly be frustrated by this case because it does not maintain its color for long. Still, it's a relatively cheap case that lasted almost two years, so I guess that counts for something when considering how crappy most cases are. ... show more
