The media could not be loaded. Set up was pretty easy. It is very handy in my kitchen. The one negative I would say is the glue they used has a terrible smell to it. Other than that, I am really enjoying this mobile island/ cart.

I love the island. I have a small kitchen with very limited counter and storage space and this solved both problems. It's sturdy and looks great. The rubberwood top cleans up very nicely. So why not 5 stars? As others have mentioned, it was a real pain at times to assemble. Mostly because the "instructions" consist of nothing more than very small pictures - absolutely NO written instructions. It was often hard to decipher where certain screws or other fasteners went and we needed to backtrack our steps and correct ourselves several times. And some of the steps should really have been broken down into multiple steps and could have benefited by telling us what order to do them in. I have put together many items in my life and rarely have I found it as challenging and frustrating as this. There were two of us and it still took over 5 hours spread out over 2 days (and I'm sure I exceeded my monthly allocation of swear words). The other problem with the assembly was keeping all of the parts of the back together as we worked on it. It was constantly coming apart - very poor design. Anyone else doing this might want to consider a few drops of glue to hold the pieces together (let the glue dry before moving on - you'll still save time in the long run). The other negatives are the peculiar smell that others have mentioned (I no longer notice it until I open the doors, and I can’t keep but wonder what awful chemicals are being off-gassed), and I wish they would have used a thicker piece of wood/plywood for the drawer bottoms. The rest of the unit uses very thick, solid pieces of wood, so I found it surprising that the drawer bottoms are so thin. But so far they are holding up to the weight of the items placed in the drawers. But despite those "negatives" I really like this unit and am glad to have it, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a similar piece. Just be prepared for an annoying assembly process - but the end product will be worth it! ... show more

This was way better made than I thought it would be. The directions can be a little confusing, But not bad. It only took about an hour for my husband to put it together. There is so much cabinet space I haven't even filled it. Looks beautiful in the kitchen!

This unit is really nice quality. Expect two boxes and when assembling (if doing it yourself) grab some painters tape to hold the back pieces together until you get the sides on.

I purchased this item to replace my smaller microwave cart so I could put my microwave and toaster oven on this one piece, as well as have enclosed storage. I wasn't expecting to be blown away, and I'm not, but all in all, it's a decent piece of furniture for the price. It's particle board/MDF. The description claims that the counter top piece is made of real wood, it doesn't appear to be, but maybe that's just what rubber wood is like. Doesn't really matter since I covered it with a cloth anyway. The drawer bottoms are quite flimsy and the drawers themselves do not glide in and out very smoothly. Not sure if I can make any adjustments to get the drawers to roll/glide smoother, but I'll tinker with it and see. It was relatively straight forward to put together. All parts, pieces and items were included and fit together properly. I want to say it took about 2.5 hours with two people. I didn't put the "spice rack" on - it just wasn't practical for my use The pieces smell really weird and that smell has permeated most of my house. It's an odd chemical smell, I don't recognize it, but assume it's from packing/shipping. Really hoping that goes away soon!! ... show more

Missing pieces 4, 5, 6, 7,10, 11, I, and J. Replacement has been ordered but still highly inconvenient. Also pieces 3 is damaged.
