I am shocked, SHOCKED at how great this meditation table looks and feels. It is exactly as the description says - solid wood and hand carved. It came wrapped very carefully and there was no damage. The figurines are beautiful - there’s a dragon on the front face and two pigeons or maybe chicken (some kind of bird) on the two legs. It took 15seconds to assemble - I included the instructions in the photos so you can see all it took was pulling the legs out carefully, one at a time. I got the small size and it is now sitting on my window ledge. I put a large square pillow in front of it and now finally have a dedicated meditation spot. I am so happy. Even the cat likes the table but is not included with your purchase, sorry. This table looks gorgeous in my apartment and is even better than the photos and I am sure it will look good in any setting. Buy it, you need this table in your life! :)

I would definitely buy the large because the small would be too small the large is just right otherwise If you are thinking about buying this alter you will NOT be disappointed. I am so happy that I chose to buy it!! The quality is amazing!! I had been searching everywhere to find the perfect alter and trust me this is it. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL ❤️ All the other ones that I looked at were outrageously priced and not half as much craftsmanship. Great piece. I ordered the large and its nice size. Not big but big enough. It folds flat and when opened sturdy and secure. To be honest, its pretty much exactly as pictured so no suprises at all. Im very happy with this and its far more beautiful than what I used before. The "ONLY" downside was last night during my meditation I could not concentrate well because I was admiring it and thinking how nice! Lol. Took me a minute to stop looking and get back to business at hand. Lol. Oh...I ordered a meditation bench to go with this but for me...because I'm 6'5...it seemed too tall for the alter so im returning bench and will just continue with my yoga matt on floor. I'm going to look at other items this seller offers because it really was purchase im happy about. Thx so much. Namaste!

We bought the medium size table as a gift and it is beautiful. Actually want one for myself now. I was hesitant at first due so some of the reviews but the table came with a nice card that has contact info if there are any issues. The packaging was solid and it was easy to set the table up no assembly required. Im not saying it wouldn’t be easy to break. It is a delicate wood piece and should be handled carefully. If your worried they offer a warranty. It’s great because you can fold it up if it’s not in use (would easily fit under the bed), has enough room for your basic mediation accessories, and the table itself just makes you want to meditate. Would recommend!

I ordered one of these tables a year ago and really liked it and needed to order another. I was going to put both of them together to create one large table. However, the newer version of this table is a bit bigger and wider than the older version. Also the older version is a gloss finish and is a bit lighter in shade. So I decided to buy a third so that I could put two together and use them as one. I contacted the seller and they made sure to send one out that would match the one I just received. It matches perfectly and so now I have three of these tables. They really are beautiful and well put together and Dharma Objects does a great job of packing and shipping.

This is beautiful, of course. It is handcrafted and what you would expect. However the sturdiness is a little bit off. If you move it you have to be sure to pick it up right. The legs underneath will fold. Otherwise, I thought it was a little overpriced but it’s beautiful and will do the job I need it to do.
