My last two pair of shoes had worn out at the toes and came completely apart. Part of that is my slide/stop style and part is cheap materials and manufacturing by today's shoe companies (yes, even less expensive Dexter shoes). When I read about the reinforced toe area in these shoes and the overall technology, I knew they would match what I was looking for. The price on these shoes is very high, but so far they are perfect on the lanes. They feel comfortable, but not loose. They are not bulky as others have described and they keep your forward slide motion as consistent as any shoe I have ever used (bowling 40+ years). My husband has been bowling for more than 30 years and he bowls 3 leagues in winter. His other 9’s shoes he worn them out in 6 years. So I picked these out and was crossing my fingers that he liked them. He was surprised how well they fit and liked his other 9’s’ they come with already with the soles on them.
