I thought the item was a little expensive until I noticed it was a 2 pack. I've purchased this before to use for holiday lights in the winter. Previous to this, I used extension cords that were not waterproof and I had electrical shorts. These plugs are waterproof and work as advertised. I purchased another set for the back yard,. I unplug the cords when not used but if it were to rain when it was being used, these plugs will protect the short from happening. ... show more

My recent purchase of the DEWENWILS 10 FT Green Outdoor Tri-Tap Extension Cord Splitter, Weatherproof 16/3 SJTW Power Cable for Holiday Decoration and Landscaping Lights, ETL Listed, Pack of 2 did not meet my expectations. Despite being marketed as weatherproof, the cords failed to withstand even light rain, which was disappointing. The length of the cords was another major issue as they were only 10 feet long, which made it necessary to constantly switch the plugs between the two tri-tap splitters to reach all of my outdoor lights. Additionally, the plugs were difficult to insert and remove, which made the task of connecting and disconnecting the cords both frustrating and time-consuming. Furthermore, the overall quality of the product was subpar. The cords were thin and flimsy, and they frequently became tangled and twisted, which was not only unsightly but also posed a potential safety hazard. Additionally, the plastic casing around the plugs felt cheap and did not instill confidence in its ability to protect against electrical hazards. Although the green color of the cords was aesthetically pleasing and blended in well with my landscaping, this small benefit was not enough to outweigh the product's lack of quality and functionality. In conclusion, I would not recommend the DEWENWILS 10 FT Green Outdoor Tri-Tap Extension Cord Splitter, Weatherproof 16/3 SJTW Power Cable for Holiday Decoration and Landscaping Lights, ETL Listed, Pack of 2.
