    • Tough boxes with great capacity and strength.
I own fourteen of these that I've purchased over the years to make tool "kits". As in, one tote may contain the battery-operated tools and accessories while another contains the batteries and chargers. I also have kits for plumbing tools and supplies, drywall tools and supplies, general hand tools, etc. To ensure I don't mix up the separate tops with bottoms, I installed small hinges on the back of each set - the top section hinges up out of the way to access the tools/supplies in the bottom section. The only negative is that the front of the tote sections are textured, so applying an adhesive label doesn't guarantee that the label will stay in place with use and age. ... show more

I bought this Dewalt toolbox in 2020, nearly 4 years ago. Primarely, I use it to keep my house tolls organized. These are my insights: 1. WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT? - As a mentioned in the title, this tool box is built as a tank. High quality plastic, which has a flex to it, is extremely hard to damage. The hinges and the carring handle are extremely strong. The amount of tools I have weigh over 30 lb. 2. HOW DOES THIS PRODUCT PERFORM? - There are two parts to this toolbox. The top smaller part, which is detachable by pressing a side button, I use for small, easy to find tools. Inside the top part, there is a compartment that you can close, where you can keep tiny tools or parts, that you don't want to mix with the other tools. Also in that top part, there are 3 dividers. The bottom part, which is deep, I use for larger heavier tools. Photos are attached. 3. IS THE PRODUCT EASY TO USE? - Extremely easy to use and to open up. Once you place the top part on the bottom one, it locks itself. And the aluminum handle makes it extremely easy to carry around, or to put in your truck. 4. IS THE PRODUCT A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY? - The best, because it can really last you a lifetime. 5. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO YOU? - Absolutely. I purchased to store my Dewalt tools in one box. It’s certainly large enough for a drill, impact drill, reciprocating saw and it an oscillating tool. There’s also a small compartment inside for drill bits. I like how the top detaches, but not certain how long the metal closures will last on the hard plastic catches. I guess time will tell, but so far okay. My only issue is once filling with tools, it’s quite heavy to carry around. For me this is best for storage but not for constantly carrying place to place. ... show more
