First of all this hose piece is very good quality. It's better quality than any of the other hoses I have. That said, it is only 6 ft long. I suppose it is meant to be attached to the end of a longer hose in order to extend it just that little bit more. I am using it however, on my small patio where I have several plants. 6 ft of hose is plenty long enough for me to be able to spray all of those plants. I've used it several times and it has already well out lasted the hose that I had previously in that spot. You can roll it up or pull it out entirely and it is very kink resistant. It's extremely easy to use and when I attached it to the faucet on my house, I twisted it tight and it is not leaking at all. I had a constant stream of water leaking down from the previous hose I had there. So this new hose is a very pleasant surprise! There's no doubt that it is a very high quality product. That said it does seem a little bit pricey to me. However, I guess that's what you have to pay if you want a product that is really going to last a long time. If that is not a priority for you, then there are slightly lower quality hoses that are less expensive. For my money though, I would order this one again. ... show more

This DEWALT heavy-duty water hose looks like something that will outlast most gear in the garage and that’s exactly what I wanted. The construction is thick without being annoyingly stiff. The fittings thread on great with no leaks or fuss. It handles pressure like a champ and doesn’t kink which is more than I can say for a lot of hoses. It's been brushed up and dragged across concrete, equipment and it barely shows any marks. This one is only 6-foot in length, but that actually makes it good as an add-on piece for tight spots where a full-size hose is overkill. If you need something reliable with a tough build that feels like proper pro-grade gear, get this. I’d recommend it without hesitation. ... show more

I have 2 hose reels and tend to replace the hose from the faucet to the reel every few years since they get kinked and a crack develops. I ordered this to replace one of them once and for all. Based on the quality, I think it will last the life of the hose reel or longer. It's very heavy duty and the end are strongly reinforced. My only complaint is the cost - it's pretty expensive compared to the ones I replace every few years. Not sure I'll be ahead over time, but I will avoid the trouble of having to replace it with this one. ... show more
