Very nice compact sized kit to have in your vehicle. Metric and standard sockets. Good variety. Case is sturdy. The quality is as I would expect from Dewalt. Price was actually very good for what you get. The selection of tools are ones you actually would need. The case is bright dewalt yellow with texture to hold onto. The function for size and tool selection make this a perfect grab and go item to use for making repairs when traveling. My only very minor issue is the slide closure, it slides a little too easy allowing the case to open unexpectedly.     • Build quality is as epected for the price, but the dang case doesn't keep things organized.

I write this from the perspective of having owned many DeWalt branded tools, as well as several socket sets, from cheap no-name to the quite expensive. I was looking for set that was compact and could be put into a toolbag or truck of a car for a "just in case" situation. This fits the bill as far as price—$39 at the time I purchased—goes, and quality is not out of line for the price. Nothing is wrong with the tools, per se, but the ratcheting could be a little tighter. My biggest complaint is how well the sockets are secured in the case. While the case latch stays closed, if it is turned upside down (as often happens in a toolbag or back of a car) the contents on one side will become disorganized and out of their compartments—the side with the wrench, extension bar and adapter have securing tabs whereas the sockets do not. It's a shame that the case is the culprit of frustration, but that's part of the reason why people buy sets. On multiple occassions I've opened the set and had to reorganize a couple dozen sockets in ascending size. ... show more
