    • This is a siphon sprayer, not a pressure feed
Note that this is a siphon sprayer. It draws paint by means of a suction created by the airflow. Therefore it is a tame and well-behaved sprayer that throws a low volume of paint in a very fine spray. What it's NOT good for, is jobs where you need to throw a large volume of paint, like when applying a thick coat of deck paint. For that you'll want a pressure-feed or pressure-pot sprayer. If that's what you need, at the same price point as this DeWalt unit, look at the Kobalt unit sold by Lowes. I own both, and each one has its uses. ... show more

Good sprayer for lawn furniture, trailor, lawn mower, even a car if you don't need show quality. Good to really quality, just not show room. Overspray not bad either for a conventional sprayer. My only complaint is a pretty bad one . Can't find extra tips or needles or packings anywhere. It performs better than most economy conventional sprayers so it gets 3 stars despite lack of backup support . Clean and store properly and still should be good workhorse for longtime. ... show more

    • This is a good product if you have a good compressor to use it with.
So far so good, just thin down your latex paint and this does a nice job. You have to be meticulous about cleaning it, which I have been, so it continues to work good for me.
