It changes voltage when you go from 20V MAX to 60V MAX tools. Lithium Ion technology delivers performance in the same size as our 9.0 Ah battery, so it is more powerful in as compact a package as possible. DEWALT 20V MAX battery also includes a built-in LED Fuel Gauge for instant charge status, and is compatible with 20V MAX tools and chargers.

I have a pretty good assortment of Dewalt gear. Having said this, depending on what I am doing the batteries need frequent charging. This is a good long-life battery but be mindful of what you put it in. If you are using this with an impact driver, it will get VERY heavy. I tend to use this in a floor light or a heavier piece of equipment which I need the battery power/life for, not on the lighter tools which I am holding above my head all day. ... show more

It’s a big heavy battery and I use it exclusively on my 8 1/4” DeWalt table saw. Considering it’s only 4AH @ 60 volts it holds up very well and provides adequate power and reasonable longevity for ripping 2X material.

DeWalt tools are the only battery powered tools I use. They are built tough, last long both tools and batteries. I will not use any other brand.

    • TK Tools seller not an Authorized dealer. Don’t buy from them.
Seller TK tools is not an authorized dealer by Dewalt. Dewalt didn’t want to honor warranty because TK TOOLS IN NOT AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. Before you buy, make the dealer is an authorized one. The battery stopped charging and it is still within the warranty period. A couple of the Dewalt batteries we have stopped working but one was replaced. But the one we got from TK Tools wasn’t. ... show more
