    • Love this fan
Style: DXF2042
Moves air like crazy. Reasonably quiet. Works like a dream. Solid but easy to move around. Love it! Use it in our geodesic dome on the third floor. Gets the cool air in♥️

    • Top quality with excellent performance.
Style: DXF2042
Here in the Southwest desert, 100 - 128F is normal during the summer. Needed a fan to help cool the garage in the morning before temperatures got above 100 again. I trust Dewalt since I have many of their power tools so I decided to purchase this fan which was more expensive than others but I'm glad I did. Construction and design are excellent. Stand and adjusters on each side provide limitless options for wind direction and quality construction any rattles or needless noise even at the highest setting. Dial setting for three speed options is easy to set and highest setting cools my two car garage quickly. Performance exceeds expectations so for me, value received exceeded the cost. Excellent fan, highly recommend. ... show more

    • Dewalt fan
Style: DXF2042
I don't like air conditioning so I needed a fan that really moves the air, and this one is great. Purchased my first one 2 years ago, and liked it so well, I just purchased another one.

    • It makes a great wind!
Style: DXF2042
LIKE: it's a fan, it blows a LOT of air. Yes, it's a bit loud...but it's for the shop, we want that much air because it's HOT in the garage and we have tools going anyway so a little extra noise isn't going to make much of a difference. The ONLY complaint? The cord's too short. Come on! You KNOW that thing is going to need to roam around a bit depending on what you're working on and who grouches the loudest that they need more air. So the cord should be SHOP long, not sit it next to the only outlet not hidden by work benches. ... show more

    • Air Movement
Style: DXF2042
I purchased this Dewalt 20 inch fan to replace a Patton Max Velocity 18 inch fan that ran flawlessly since 1986 until it seized up and died. On the lowest setting, the Dewalt seems to move less air and is a tad noisier than my old fan. I attribute this to the blade design. I use the fan on the patio to help me cool off in the Arizona heat after yard work running it at a higher speed while getting noisier will not disturb anyone. Overall I am very happy. I thought bigger and industrial would be better, and maybe it is. Time will tell. I will say the price is right. It is a Dewalt. EDIT: After a couple of days use in the evening to stir up the air into a cooling breeze, it is not as efficient as I had hoped it would be. For all the noise, the air movement is rather soft if that makes any sense. The air is spread out in a wide cone rather than a straight out concentration. I do believe that a better fan would be your typical household style and suggest that folks visit stores selling fans and try them out before spending the money. The Dewalt is a fine fan but is not the equal to the old Patton with regards to felt air movement. ... show more

    • Simple garage fan that goes above and beyond
Style: DXF2042
I live in Florida and summer are extremely hot. This makes it so spending time in the garage is doable without melting. I am able to workout in the garage and I’ve seen it drop the temperature 15 degrees just by circulating the air
