One of the 2 in the pack I bought was unable to take a charge. Production date looked to be recent and packaging was untouched, so I chose to deal directly w/ Dewalt rather than return it. After I sent the info, Dewalt immediately responded w/ apology and indicated they would process for a replacement- no additional hoops to jump through. I've only ever used the cheap knock offs and after those started dying on me randomly I decided to bite the bullet and sell my kidney to give these a shot. I must say I am impressed by the power and performance of these. They seem to just handle high draw applications orders of magnitude better than the third party ones. Wish they weren't so damn expensive, but if you need performance and reliability I don't think they can be topped. ... show more

I have accidentaly dropped these packs from an 8 ft ladder on a concrete floor and they did not crack or have any other issue after. The charge indicator is very helpfull. Just another great Dewalt product. Pricy but worth it.
