I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Arrived as described. I've had a regular DEWALT cordless 20v XR Drill for many years and have used it for all my projects around my home. Every once in a while I feel like if I had an IMPACT DRIVER that I could do some jobs easier and faster. I decided to invest in DEWALT Impact Driver because it uses and comes with the exact 2ah Battery my drill uses. But then SURPRISE, I needed a full-blown IMPACT WRENCH to remove a car tire in my garage, and had to ask a neighbor over to help me. I started looking for a DEWALT Impact Wrench to do the job. Before I could find an IMPACT WRENCH I liked, I found a good deal on an Impact Socket set, that included all sizes 3/8" and 1/2" in regular and deep sockets. I couldn't decide if I should get a 3/" drive or 1/2" drive Impact Wrench, when this kit came up on sale with BOTH sizes in it. If you catch this item on sale, BUY IT. Better deal than trying to buy everything separately. I feel I bought the 1/2" Impact Wrench and got the 3/8" for free. BTW while I'm speaking on what it comes with, there is a little confusion on this listing. The listing is correct about both Impact Tool's Model numbers, and this does come with a Battery and a charger. The charger is the newer style 2-Stage FAST CHARGE which is a better charger than most sets come with. It's faster, and charges in 2 Stages to ensure long battery life and a full charge. The battery is a full size 5ah and boy does it have power. After all those years using a 2ah and thinking it can't get any better, but I was wrong. The other thing the listing does not mention is this set comes with a 14" DEWALT carry bag. That means you can not only fit both tools into this handy bag, but plenty of room for accessories. The DEWALT bags are made really well also. Both Impact Wrenches have a LED light and performs as promised. The 1/2" Drive has 2 speeds AND a middle selection which is awesome, and pretty mush the setting I use a the time. In this setting when you are tightening a nut, once the nut gets tight the impact wrench stops driving so hard to give you that second needed to release the power button. PLUS when you are removing a nut the impact wrench stops impacting and slow down to am easy spin once the nut breaks free, also giving you time to release the power button before just running the nut right off the end of the bolt/stud too quickly. YES I am a DEWALT person, having had a few of their tools and been totally satisfied with them and how they perform, but more importantly....they are still preforming without a single concern. This is a great quality kit for anyone who works on vehicles or yard equipment etc. the 3/8 has plenty of power and is lightweight and compact. The 1/2” easily handles tire rotation on 3/4 Ton pickup trucks. Very durable and reliable. Even after I use them for a hammer. The 5ah battery holds a charge very well for a long time. Bought this set and others for home use. Life happened and I ended up using them professionally at a heavy vehicle repair shop. Use them daily with no complaints and also found out you can get them repaired by the tool trucks if they break. Would definitely recommend.
