This is a short review on one of the Dewalt impacts that I purchased. Impact overall is well built with a few features that are new to me. This is the first and only battery impact driver own. I have however recently used a Milwaukee, ryobi, and craftsman impact recently. The Dewalt and Milwaukee both were superior in performance followed by the ryobi. One feature i have seen on drills but not impacts is the ability to limit the torque delivered with a clutch. This impact allows you to select the 1,2,or 3 which allows you more control and lessens torque and the chance of striping screws and such. Battery life to me is average and nothing to brag about. Definitely a solid performing tool and I would repurchase with out blinking an eye if and when the time comes I need a new impact. ... show more

I've always bought dewalt tools and will continue to they always work great with a ton of power. This impact has a ton of power blows many impacts out of the water. Also doesn't use a ton of battery charge I ran a 2ah batter for a deck project and about completed the project before battery died.
