    • Beautiful, but not real comfortable for thick ankles

I have thick ankles and calves, and when I tried these on, the foot felt very comfortable (I sized up to 8.5 from my usual size 8, to accommodate a thin sock), but the top leather part was very stiff, and rubbed uncomfortably against my calves. i could tell right away that a few go-arounds with these boots on would make my calves feel rough and irritated, so I had to return them. I love the style of this boot. The heel is a great size, the design, everything. But for someone who steps harder and needs more support in the sole, I wouldn’t turn to these. They’re good for short term wear and maybe not being on one’s feet for long periods of time. Maybe an insert would help but I’d like to depend on the product more fully than have to compliment it with something else. ... show more

This is my second pair of these boots, I have not found a pair of Chelsea boots that can compete. I have skinny legs and ankles, so am always on the lookout for boots that do not have wide gaps around the ankles. These boots are incredibly comfortable, I wear them to work and on the weekends, and stylish. Pair them with leggings and a skirt/dress or with jeans, they look great with anything! They run true to size, I usually buy boots 1/2 size larger and wear thick socks but I purchase these in my normal size and wear my normal socks with these. The toe box is narrow, so if you have a wide foot this may not be the shoe for you. ... show more

I really need these boots for my daughter for horse riding. She out grew her last pair. I ordered a 8.5 and the first pair i was messaged as undeliverable. So I ordered again and they are US size 11. i lined up the sizes with her other boots because these are so big. And where her old boots say US size these have 11. The 8.5 is under either UK or MX.
