I have yet to be disappointed with Dewalt tools and this buffer is no exception. The only negative is that it goes through batteries pretty quickly but this is not an issue since I have spares. Glad I went with this model and you will be too.

Works great for buffing/polishing cars. Did 2 of my cars and headlights. It's a big head in my opinion so it can be a handful at times to control. 2 AH batteries drain very quickly so you should invest in a couple 4 AH batteries if you don't have some already. Great price on Amazon, cheapest one I could find. Showed up next day with regular shipping! I would recommend adding this tool if you want to do paint correction and if you have a DeWalt setup already. ... show more

Quality tool. I have always owned Dewalt buffers, in my opinion the best. I wanted a cordless for smaller jobs. Saves a lot of time with extension cords etc, particularly for jobs in a remote spot. You're going to pay a little more for the DeWalt polisher, but it's well worth the price. It's balanced, quiet, no vibration. Exactly what I would expect out of DeWalt

    • My second Dewalt DCM849, still using the first one.
Awsome buffer. Use on large boat projects. I use the 4ah batteries, 2ah is too small except for very small jobs. Variable speed offers buffing flexibility. Very durable.
