this is one of the best shop purchases that I've ever made. I kept looking at it, and looking at it before I bought it, wondering if it would be worth the money. But once I got it and actually used it, I have never been happier. DeWalt is usually a good choice for power tools, although they are on the higher side of mid-range, cost-wise. But this was really worth it, smooth as silk to use, solid construction, good controls and stops, heavy. You will not be unhappy with this. One tip: The dust collection is poor, but of course that is the case with all miter saws so it doesn't say anything worse about DeWalt, but plan on hooking it up to a shopvac at the very least, otherwise, you'll have sawdust over everything. ... show more
