Both 5amp batteries came charged to about 17 volts. Put both on charger and they charged to 20.3 volts. Just started using them and they appear to function as 5 amp batteries. The item has just arrived. How am I supposed to rate "Longevity" & "Battery Life" of a brand new item? Ask me in 5 years. Value for money? Batteries are expensive, IMHO. Item arrived in a timely manner, & appears as advertised.

Bought this so I could have some large batteries for my DeWalt 2gal Wet/Dry vac and this was the best price on thew internet, especially to include a charger and a bag. Opened it up, looks great. Works Great. No Issues.

The cheap batteries I have tried making and buying and you get what you get. I find on high drawl tools the cheap ones have issues but on low drawl tools they work. Either way, just buy the dewalt 20v and I have some 8yrs old and still okay with and they were used in industry. the 60v stay away from if you can as they are terrible and dewalt should replace or return all money for them. I have used the 60v over 6 years and always had failures with nearly no cycles and they die over time if used or not. ... show more

I really like these batteries, but they seem to be very expensive. I have other battery-operated equipment that use the same volts and amps but cost a lot less to purchase. Dewalt seems to be taking advantage of their customers.
