    • Long runtime with Sawzall- just what I needed!
Style: Starter kit w/ 1 battery
I made the mistake of buying a pair of off brand NiCads, but they would literally only make a couple of cuts. I am so glad I decided to purchase an adapter and upgrade to this genuine 5.0Ah DeWalt lithium ion battery. I use the sawzall to keep my bamboo in check- I couldn't even get through a 1/4th of the job with two brand new knock off batteries and my original DeWalt battery that I bought them to replace (which was still performing better than the new ones.). With this new battery I got through the entire job and was cutting just as good at the end as at the beginning. If you need the power and runtime, don't cut corners, just make the investment and be done with it. I'm not sure what I'll use the included bag for, but it is a handy size. I'm sure I'll find something. ... show more

    • Expensive but necessary
Style: Starter kit w/ 1 battery
I needed a bigger battery for my new dewalt hedge trimmer and chose this one. The battery lasts a good amount of time and no issues with the power. The charger is quick and durable. The bag is a good add on. I returned mine because someone gave me the same thing as a gift.

    • Dewalt 20v Battery and Charger Kit
Style: Starter kit w/ 1 battery
I bought this kit to use with an adapter to fit the old 18v Dewalt tools. I got the adapter from Amazon as well. I have a few of the 18v Dewalt tools that are in good shape and thought the new Lithium batteries would be much better than the old or new aftermarket Ni-Cad batteries. I have a few 18v batteries that will work ok if you aren't going to demand too much of them... I am not using these tools for my income so they will most likely last he rest of my life. This battery kit got me started in the Lithium powered business at a good price. I got to test the battery using the circular saw cutting several 3/4 boards. I was impressed with the power and the battery did not even loose in bar on the meter. I will also tell you my second plan on this kit. I still have a few of the Craftsman 19.2v tool, also in decent condition. I bought an adapter from Amazon to use the Dewalt 20v batteries on the old Craftsman 19.2 cordless tools. This was a win win purchase for me. ... show more
