Finally, a dark tanner that doesn't smell awful and works quickly without making me orange or washing off when I shower. I like this better than the DC Black Velvet tanner... I feel like Dark AF is the better version of Black Velvet, actually. The smell is better when I only do a bronzing bed, but even the smell after using the base level bed isn't too bad. (Black Velvet smells nasty!) Dark AF color starts to show up before I get to the bed and it intensifies after my tan. It's not as dark/obvious as the Black Velvet is, but all that extra color just washes off so.... 🫤 I awarded 5 stars for: decent smell (coconut-y beach-ish), anti-orange deep tanning, and quick results. I get deeper, darker results from the lower level 12min Ergoline bed than I do from the mid-higher level bronzer bed. I haven't used this lotion with a high pressure bronzer bed yet and I'm excited to try that and see how dark I can get. 👏😁 I'm on the journey to find my super dark tanning unicorn lotion and Dark AF is it for now. I gave 4 stars because well it smells so good and a little goes a long way. It doesn’t leave you greasy or have an after tan smell but it does leave your hands orange and will leave streaks!

I purchased Devoted Creations Dark AF lotion in 12.25oz with great expectations. Sadly, it has not lived up to its name. I have used this lotion on five different occasions now, and I am not seeing any noticeable difference. I will use what is left of the bottle and hope for a better outcome; I do not think I will try this brand again. With that being said, it did come with a security wrap around the lid to show that it was factory sealed and not messed with. The packaging is nice, and it arrived quickly. ... show more

I started using this when I was a beginner tanner and paired it with devoted creations opalescent lotion. I would switch back and forth between the two. This is a white bronzer, so it won't stain. Gives good color around 4 hours after tanning. Not a huge fan of the smell especially if I have to go back to work after tanning, but it's tolerable. Have repurchased twice already. ... show more
