I needed a bench or chair(s) for the front entrance of my townhouse. Then I came across this little set as the price was just right. I read the reviews and prepared myself for the headache of putting it together. Honestly, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Putting it together was a little awkward but simple. The instructions could not have been any clearer. The set looks nice with clean lines. A little small but that's okay as we don't plan to sit there often. Where I live, the insects that fly around are the size of small helicopters and to me, look lethal. In other words, this little set is just for show and it doesn't disappoint. I'm happy it serves my purpose. Don't know how it would hold up in heavy, daily usage but I think it would hold up for a while. Doesn't seem fragile. Glad with my purchase. ... show more

If you plan to use it every day, get something better. I needed something to update our small porch and this set is perfect. Small and of occasional porch use, it's perfect. Assembly took less than 30 minutes but my husband did not use the tool provided that came with the set. He used a ratchet and it was effortless. Unsure what all the assembly complaints are. Great set for the price. I was nervous after reading reviews about rain since the day after we got our set together and put out on our deck we got VERY heavy rainfall. I went out the next morning and was pleasantly surprised to see that the water just beaded on the fabric and came right off! Nothing was wet or ruined. The cushions are thin but are actually fairly comfortable. Our set won't get heavy usage so I think they will hold up nicely. Also the weight limit is exceeded when both my partner and I sit on the "couch" and it holds up well. The entire setup took a little over 2 hours because my husband was determined to build it himself and accepted defeat because you definitely need two people. One to hold the pieces together and another to screw the hardware. None of the pieces were labeled so it was a bit of a guessing game at the very beginning. The furniture is not rattan. It's made of vinyl / plastic woven strips, that has the appearance of a dark rattan. Hopefully it will hold up to hours of direct sunlight, time will tell. The furniture takes time to assemble using the supplied Allen wrenches. I recommend not tightening all the fasteners until it's completely assembled, allowing you make adjustments to square the furniture and easy line up of the holes for the fasteners. I'm very impressed. I'm a 65-year-old female and I put this together myself and as other reviewers noted, don't tighten all the screws until you get them all in and the only pain in the butt sort of thing is tightening the screws with the Allen wrench. However once I put it together, I am very happy, looks good, sturdy and comes with a glass top table for under $100, can't beat it. And I didn't see mention of this but if you put it on your patio and it wobbles a little bit, the front legs on the chairs and table are adjustable. There's a little screw in the foot and you just screw it to the height that you needed to be. I'm very pleased with the product. ... show more

I just bought it in late March of 2024 and I say I'm overall ok with it so far. The box it came in was damaged but everything was in there and nothing inside the boc was damaged. The instructions were easy to follow and we needed up woth a few extra screws even after double checking everything. It was semi easy to put together till one set of holes wasn't lined up and then it was a pain in the butt and we had to use tools to make them line up and fit. It's pretty steady so far a little on the wobble but overall ok held over 250pounds. Its comfortable but so far have yet to leave it out in the rain or use it on a consistent basis so we will see how long it lasts. Overall for the price$ I'm a little surprised so far. ... show more
