It took me five hours by myself, I have many years carpenter experience, though. All the holes lined up assembly was pretty straightforward just time, consuming lots of pieces and parts to put together. The only deviation I had to make from the pre-drilled holes was for the doors. I recommend starting from the bottom and then plumbing them up whether they line up with the top holes are not as mine did not, but that’s an easy fix. This little building was easy to construct, a good size and perfect for what I needed. I am using it for a garden shed to hold my tools, pots etc. Now I think I may buy one of the bigger ones for my lawn Mower and bike storage. I did need some help putting it together and some extra tools and supplies were needed to make sure the base was sturdy. But it did come with good instructions, just lots of pieces. I am pretty satisfied with it in the end.

Customer service was great! My shed was shipped to me missing a piece. I got to a step in the assembly and couldn't go further without the missing piece. The company was very communicative and got the missing panel to me very quickly. I wouldn't want to live in one, but it serves my purposes of locking up gas powered yard tools perfectly. I like it. Firstly this is a review of the 6 by 8 shed. The order came in two boxes, but after box 2 of 2 arrived it said "delivered". Messaged the seller through Amazon who got back to me the next morning with the tracking code for box 1 of 2 that arrived that next evening, so other than the momentary scare, I have to say excellent shipping and responsiveness. The instructions are very thorough and even have hints. A few small critiques/tips. Had all parts (and even several spare screws and plastic bits), but only had 300 plastic washers when it says 309, and seeing as how I just got 14 loose ones from my local hardware store, and somehow I still came up 1 short, they likely just shorted mine a sheet of washers (they are in sheets of 100). The page showing the construction of the door side frames does not make it very clear that the frame slides over and around the wall (pictured). Also in building the doors it shows the top and bottom sliding in from the side when they need to be diagonally slid in on one side and kind of scissored down as they have a back lip. Basically construction was very straight forward with very few hiccups. Took me most of the day to get together with a little help from my boys (holding panels and prepping screws with plastic washers, mostly) and a nice long lunch break. I don't know if the smaller ones are done differently, but shy of two screws and holes, everything lined of incredibly well (and those two were likely my fault due to not ensuring square before proceeding from the base frame up to the corners. Shed even has small plastic bits to cover the screw tips that protrude through on the inside which is thoughtful. I am glad I got the larger 6 by 8 as it holds (albeit tight) two adult bikes, 3 bmx bikes, a shelf for gas cans and parts, a lawnmower, and various other junk I have to store. A 3' or 4' would have been completely inadequate, so I recommend going bigger than you think you need. I would buy this shed again. ... show more

I see complaints about the sturdiness, water tight...etc. well, it is what I expected for the price. Remember what you paid for it. Took the afternoon to setup. The instructions are taken from a Ikea play book😜. My pet pig tried to use it as a scratch pad... Ops. I had to repair it.     • Lots of parts - have lots of patience

It’ll take all day - have lots of patience! Hint 1: Don’t assemble in full sun. You’ll be in sun all day! Put the dog in the house - he’ll just mess everything up. Hint 2: Study the plans and read ahead. The parts make sense if you line up the holes with the subsequent steps. The diagrams are poor. But it does work correctly. Hint 3: Use a magnetic screwdriver head. The screws are small and easily lost. I would use a manual screwdriver vs a screwdriver drill - it’s easier to aim for the tiny holes. Hint 4: Have one of your kids put the plastic washers on the screws - there are “hundreds” of them! It’ll speed up the build. Hint 5: Assemble it on a level surface. Keep it as square as possible. The holes will line up easier. Hint 6: All the painted sheet metal parts have plastic film to prevent scratches. It takes forever to remove it. I gave up on it and left it on except the triangular vent parts. Maybe the other film will peel off with age! Hint 7: Have a cold beer. Have the wife give you a back rub. You made it thru an ordeal - just to have place to put the freakin lawnmower! ... show more
