TLDR: -Great while it worked (but failed in 3 months) -Crap amp -Guaranteed to fail -laughable customer service Bought in September and failed in December. Checked Fuses, connections, etc. Still lights up but no sound. Amplifier went out. Reached out to seller since return window expired and instead of offering a warranty replacement they offered me a 50% discount on another one. What a joke! I said no and wanted a warranty replacement, they said that I would have to pay $40 shipping for that to ship it to their warehouse! How in the world does shipping cost $40? Creating a label on USPS says it will be $16 to $20 max for priority mail! And for warranty, they should be covering the shipping! Took it apart to see if I could see anything wrong with it. As you can see in the picture, the amplifier component is absurdly small to be rated for "600w". I've seen beefier 50w amps. This poor amp was probably running 110% when it was being used and overheating a crap ton. They did at least try by using thermal pads to connect the mosfets/etc to the enclosure which is metal to help dissipate heat, but there were 2 that had no heatsink on top. Guaranteed to fail. You get what you pay for, cheap product with cheap customer service. Don't but this if you want anything to last longer than 3 months or want good customer service. I'm not going to spend $40 to just get another one that will fail in 3 months. The box and speaker are decent, i'm going to buy a standalone amplifier to power just the driver in this sub... It was great while it worked, although I had to EQ it some, as it LOVES the 70 - 90hz range which is a little high for my taste. ... show more

I already have a MB Quartz in another car and wanted 1 more to install in the truck. Says unavailable now, sadly. Looked closely at this one and the pics and everything is very similar. Installed and sounds is close but doesnt seem as loud as the MB with the settings about the same. One plus of this was the amp kit that was included. Although its a 10ga power wire, its very thin and has more coating then anything so really its probably like a 12-14ga. Other then that its a basic amp kit that was included. Ain't pushing 2 10s etc with a 1000w amp so its more then fine. Used to fill a void in the back cab of a f150. Which fits perfectly in there. Works ok for the price with everything, see how long this last. Main thing I got my wiring where I want it so if ever it goes swap and go! ... show more

Love the small profile of this sub. Plenty of bass for the money and nice, complete install kit. I used this in a single cab Tacoma pickup, so I didn’t need much, but this tiny sub fills the lows out nicely and fits under the bench seat without any issue. The sturdy metal construction of the cabinet ensures I never have to worry about tools or other things I keep in the truck damaging it. This little thing is punchy. Very good bass for an affordable price. The installation kit isn’t the best though, order a new amp kit and you’re golden!

Works great for the price adds good fill of bass. Won’t blow your doors off by any means. But is just right to here and feel the base ass it should be

Installed in a Miata and it’s great for this size vehicle. Would not put this in a sedan or anything bigger. Sound is decent and bass is punchy. 3 star review because the wires provided are very cheap and the ground wire is very short.

I got the 8" sub and still have it new. Had local professional install it but gotta say it has quite the nice bass for such a small package. Had to dial it in with my stock radio so it didn't overpower some notes but once I did it was perfect and the bass knob is great to give it oomph when I want that extra. My settings are around 85ish Hz crossover, 25% bass boost and gain. ... show more
