Bought this for a tiny college apartment to use for a TV stand. We ordered two sets. They are not the easiest to put together and the directions are not the best. The modular concept is excellent; that's why we bought them. The would be a 5 star if the boards were thicker. These are thin and wobbly, especially if someone wants to stack them for a taller configuration. We were hoping to be able to go three high but they are not sturdy enough. Assembly was super easy. I did it by myself and it was simple enough. My tv is a 55” so I put the 2 pieces together(as shown in the pic). There is a slight bend due to the weight of the tv but hopefully it’ll be alright. If you’re keen to details, in this formation, there are some gaps. The left side piece rises slightly more than the right side on the top so it is a bit misaligned. When you’re using the screws, it does peel off some of the black exterior around the holes. However, for the price I paid, I think those are very minor problems. ... show more

The unit should come with some L brackets or some wood glue for the dowels. Other than that it is shorter than I realized. Unit looks great
