I set up my new 2-drawer file today from DEVAISE. I love it. It's exactly as described and exactly what I needed in my home office. It's the perfect color, perfect design & has an anti-tip feature. Sleek drawers with the no protruding handles nice locking mechanism. The drawers operate very smoothly and without a struggle. The extra pedestal completely prevents tipping forward when you have a drawer of heavy files open. I really like that! The cabinet arrived fully assembled. The only step the consumer must complete is installation of the four casters and the anti-tip pedestal. Easy – Peezy with the included tools and instruction guide with illustrations. We purchased 2 of the 2-drawer and 1 of the 3-drawer with miscellaneous storage for note pads, pens, etc. -cabinets easy to put together -drawers solid and slide mechanism is smooth -they roll and can be moved easily - the wheels do not scratch flooring -interior is ample, easy to segregate files by type We also appreciate that they roll and can be moved to a locked area for extra security when there are workers or curious children in our home. The cabinet was very easy to assemble (minimal assembly required; wheels, drawer dividers, etc). It's the perfect size and the quality feels decent compared to the ones in my company office. Excellent value for the price. What I like: - I especially appreciated how well this was packaged. The manufacturer took above average product protective measures, which is a rare thing these days. - The small center wheel in the front helps, but be aware, if the top drawer is fully extended but the bottom is closed, it will still tip forward. This is easily avoided by opening both drawers at the same time whenever the top one needs to be pulled all the way out. - The drawers extend all the way out, so no reaching into an awkward dark hole to get to the back files. - Clean, creamy white without being shockingly bright. - Rolls easily. - Just heavy enough to be sturdy, but still easy to move around. - It has a lock & key. ... show more

Shipping box was packed extremely well and the filing cabinet is sturdy and nice looking. The drawers open and close easily and the lock and keys are quality. I do not plan on using the wheels, and even placed on carpet, it feels sturdy and balanced on the floor.
