    • Just quit working
When I first got this, it worked well to clear steam and smoke from cooking. But after a couple of months, it just quit turning on. I only used it about ten times total. It also will topple over easily, as it is top heavy for the tripod and cannot be adjusted very well.

It’s ok, but not the best! The filter is just one layer and just there to catch grease. Would be cool if it filtered the air too.

This vent is the perfect option for indoor air fryers, grills, and fryers. I have a new house with very picky smoke detectors. Any time I cooked and had a little smoke the detectors would go of and drive us and the dogs crazy. I have a Ninja indoor grill and air fryer that I could barley use. I had to open doors and have fans blow toward the open doors. Enter the desktop range hood. This product is great. The first time I used it, I was pleasently surprised no smoke detectors went off. Cute little fan and it perfectly near the stove - however, it did not provide the suction it claimed. It barely filtered any smoke or smell coming off of the pot

The media could not be loaded. We purchased this for our KBBQ dinner at home, and it made a huge difference! We used a Thai style charcoal (indoors), and set the desktop hood right over it. The setting we chose was the third one: maximum power. The desktop hood came with four filters and cord (you will need a charger block if you are using an outlet)… make sure the block you use has the capacity for the same power required. Package was sent with no power cord or tripod. Kinda happy because boy was this item cheap. I cannot imagine it doing any good. The “charcoal” filter was a thin disk of what appeared to be a black sponge. The fan weighed about 8 oz- likely would have tipped over easily.
