Added this to the corner of bedroom. Very versatile, I can work on the laptop and have my wife sleeping right behind me. I added led bar separately so I have sufficient light for the table. Tips for longevity, as a carpenter, I can't reccomend enough to add drops of wood glue into each hole as you work through assembling, just wipe of the excess that seeps out as you tighten down the pieces. This should solve most problems mentioned in other reviews. Also, adding two L brackets to the stud will make the table last a while, it is highly recommended (See my picture for reference). ... show more

First, the back hinges that hang the unit and adjust the height are great in concept but poor in construction. One broke immediately and I had to kludge something together to make it work. It also does not give great sturdiness to the desk (held only on the top to hangers mounted on the wall) so I will be adding angle brackets to the bottom and wall for additional stability. Second, the from leg support piece/ board is very thin particle board (picture 1) with hinges screwed into the edge. The screws stripped (picture 2), the leg fell, and then it cracked (picture 2). I will be replacing this with a solid piece of plywood as there will at least be some strength to the table. The design should have utilized solid wood on the leg panel frame as they even notch it and thin it more with leg lock-down mechanism. ... show more

While I was hesitant in purchasing this due to it being made of chip board, the desk is very solid! I work from home and have plenty of space for a notebook or iPad, a laptop, two cell phones, and a water bottle on the desktop! With all the storage in the cabinet there is space for my practice needs and decorations. The best part, when the work day is over I can close it all up and not have work stuff cluttering my space! It only took a little over and hour to put together, and has a super easy bracket hanging system that is slightly adjustable if you need it to be! One tip: while it is not called out in the instructions, install the felt pads on the bottom of the cabinet against the wall, this makes the whole thing stable. ... show more

Fundamentally it works, but what a mixed bag of issues. The good: Decent construction, and it will work as both a desk surface as well as an odd compact item on the wall. The wall mount brackets look pricey and did a good job of being adjustable once we figured out where to mount them. The bad: Horrible directions. Be prepared to feel frustration and even rage. The shelves on the right side are sort of like angled mail sorters which means they have to be emptied to close the desk. The latch to hold closed is brass colored but the hinge are nickle colored. On an all black item it looks terrible and screams when the desk is folded up. I might buy this again, but the manufacturer could spend and extra 50 cents to include a paper template and change the latch or hinge material to match. be prepared for a challenging installation and a bit of an eyesore. ... show more

I love how it folds up out of the way when not in use and I can store stuff in it. I use it for a grooming table for my dogs. I store their clippers and grooming supplies in it.

    • Horrible Quality & Dangerous

If I could give this 0 stars I would. First of all, the material is such poor quality that it was chipping & cracking as I was doing the assembly according to the instructions (not to mention I have 0 arm strength so I was doing it “too hard” I was barely cranking a tool & it was cracking. Second, the fact that the is supposed to hang to equipment you mount to the wall…. It fell off my wall 3 times because the hooks are such poor quality. It is not secure whatsoever. The 3rd time it fell off the wall, I had the desk down and bc I was not expecting it my finger got caught in the hinge when it fell. I almost fainted the pain was so bad. Had I not maneuvered getting my finger out correctly, it could’ve been dangling. This item is not worth the hassle, harm, money, or space saving. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. For $109 dollars this is a terrible value for money. At such an exorbitant price materials and Quality Control should be well above average, bit in this case it's quite the opposite. The build started fine but quickly turn foul as the precut holes for the folder shelves were cut on the wrong side resulting in the exposed edge to be facing outward. The second and final thing that ruined this peice was the wheel locking nut snapped as I was I was adjusting it into the correct orientation. This was an overall awful experience and I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a quick work area to put up in a small space. Don't waste your money look elsewhere. ... show more
