  • If you need a long run 48GBPS HDMI 2.1 cable, this is the one
Size: 32.8 Feet
For over half a year now, I've been looking for a cable that allows my RTX 3090 to send a 4K/120hz/444/10 bit signal to my LG C9 using the new HDMI 2.1 protocol that the new consoles and GPUs support. My PC is far from my TV, so I needed something at least 10 meters. After trying out multiple competing products that weren't certified (and all of them having varying signal loss issues), I'm happy to say that 2+ weeks into owning this one I haven't had a SINGLE issue. The cable simply just works - since day one I've been able to send the full signal to my LG C9 without any audio/video distortions or dropouts. This is also certified by HDMI which should provide a higher level of consumer confidence. Also, the cable feels premium - the source and display ends don't heat up nearly as much as cables from competing companies, and the cable is in a nice braided coating that gives it a premium look and feel while also coupling as nice protection for the cable. If you own a TV that supports HDMI 2.1 and you need a long run cable that works with the full 48GBPS bandwidth, look no further. ... show more

  • Cable Matters Active Fiber Optic Cable is the Best
Size: 16.4 Feet
This cable is on the expensive side. But if you can afford it, it is well worth the money. My setup requires a 12 foot, plus, cable to reach between my TV and AVR. I have a 2022 Samsung QN90B TV, and a 2022 Denon AVR X2800H AVR. The cable that I had connected previously was a 15-foot, certified, ultra-high speed, copper cable. This Cable Matters, 16 foot, certified, ultra high-speed, active, fiber optic cable, produces better video, and MUCH better audio than the copper cable. It is built well and is much thinner than a copper cable. I scanned the certification label, and it returns that this is a certified cable. This cable works with Earc very well. All the different cables that I have purchased from Cable Matters over the years have been high quality. I highly recommend this cable. ... show more

  • Works as Advertised. No issues with 4k 120hz from PS5 over 33ft (10m) Cable.
Size: 32.8 Feet
Works as Advertised. No issues with 4k 120hz from PS5 over 33ft (10m) Cable. I am running the 33ft (10M) version of this cable from a Avidgram HDMI 2.1 switch to a Bravia 7 85" tv and it works perfectly. 4k 120hz w/ HDR and VRR works as expected from PS5.

  • Doesn't come anywhere close to functioning as advertised
Size: 32.8 Feet
Ordered this cable since the distance from my PC to make Samsung Q70A is around 20 feet, which is too far for a typical HDMI cable to function without signal loss. It was able to handle 4k120hz just fine, but when attempting to enable HDR the signal cut off and windows stopped detecting the TV unless i lowered the refresh rate to 30hz first. The replacement cable arrived and could only handle 4k60hz and enabling HDR forced the resolution down to 1280x768 and wouldn't allow me to increase it unless I disabled HDR. I have previously been very satisfied with Cable Matters, but they clearly stopped caring about their QA if cables are being sent out having clearly not been tested. Would not recommend Cable Matters cables until they can solve their lack of QA. ... show more

  • True 2.1 HDMI Cable
Size: 32.8 Feet
I have a 30 foot run from my LG G4 Tv to the basement where my Yamaha RX-A4A AVR is. I first tried a non-optical/active cable and it did not work. I then tried the RuiPro Green HDMI cable. That cable worked on one port, but got no signal on the ARC/EARC HDMI port. The Cable Matters cable is the only one I could find that delivered full HDR, Dolby Vision, and EARC. The cover on the cable also made it very easy to pull through my conduit. Great cable. ... show more

  • Fixed dropouts and artifacts between S95c and RTX 4080 Super.
Size: 16.4 Feet
(Note the S95c TV is known to have issues with 4k 144hz due to not supporting a full 48gbps connection.) My previous card was a GTX 1660 Ti. I had no issues with 1080p HDR non-VRR gaming on the S95c with a certified 48gbps HDMI cable from a well known electronics retailer. When upgrading to an RTX 4080 Super I assumed everything at or under 4k 120hz would be fine with the same cable, but instead I got constant dropouts and weird visual artifacts. Even 1080p while playable was no longer 100% stable with having a minor dropout every hour or so (to repeat, same cable but new card). I have no idea what the point(s) of failure are between the card/cable/tv/connection/interference that are making things so finicky and inconsistent for myself and others with dropout issues with certified cables at high bandwidths. This seems to be a common issue from searching around, and fiber cables sound like a general though not 100% fix for everyone. What I do know, though it may be too soon to say for sure, is that this cable has solved all my issues. I've had no dropouts or artifacts since swapping it in. I do actually still need to test VRR as I've only tried up to 4k 120hz non-VRR so far, but this cable has salvaged me from being in a broken gaming state after upgrading. The cable is expensive, but assuming it keeps working is worth it until the general dropout issue is figured out to where normal short cables can work as they should. ... show more
