Absolutely pleased with my purchase of the Toscano squirrel pair and would highly recommend! The squirrels are very well made, with believable textures and eyes. I've never personally seen brown squirrels, but this pair looks quite real sitting in my flower bed. They are more so the size of baby squirrels, not too small at all. I would highly recommend purchasing the pair together, for not only is the price excellent, but they very much belong together in the garden.     • Adorable but broken
The squirrels are adorable. I bought them as a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law who collects squirrels. When they came, they were in a huge box with a smaller box and paper inside. When I opened the smaller box, each squirrel was wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap. I commented that this was the best wrapped package I had ever gotten. When I opened the first squirrel it was adorable and in perfect shape. I opened the second on to discover that the foot was broken off. I thought, it's a clean break and I'll just glue it back and it will never be noticed. However, I went on to discover that there is a hole in the side of the squirrel. My husband said it wasn't broken but he thought the material was too thin when the casting was done. I would contact the seller to let them know but when I click on that in the order info, it only comes up with the Rainbow loom c-clips that also came in this order. It does not give me the option to contact the seller of the squirrels. If you can please let me know what to do to get these replaced, I would appreciate it. Thank you. ... show more

Beautiful piece and I bought eight pieces from this company, the only thing is they misrepresent and say that their business and everything is in the United States, which is a lie because when I got every piece, it was made in China. Stop making things in China and bring them back to the United States. You are misleading people by saying that you make and craft your products in the states. If it wasn’t for the products being so beautiful, I would’ve gave you one star ... show more

Update March 21, 2024 Within 2 years there was very noticeable fading of the paint, that increased as the years went by. I removed one star because of this. I wish they had either had a protective sun protectant, provided initially, or instructions for how we should protect them. If it weren't for missing eyeballs and broken ears that occurred over the years, I would try to refurbish them now. However, I think I will be starting over. My grandson will be delighted when he sees Scamper and Chomper next week. I just need to try to keep him from carrying them to the patio, from the garden, and dropping them and chipping or breaking them. They seem really well made and heavier than some other similarly crafted ones I found locally (and lighter than the concrete ones I had found). They will be easily knocked over by strong winds or prowling animals, but I can live with that. ... show more

I gave this to the same good friend that I gave a necklace and a bracelet that had squirrels on it to. She absolutely adores these two squirrels. They are realistic looking and cute they even have names if I can remember one name is Chomper and I can't remember the other name. It looks SO real. It is durable for outdoors. Just the right weight. Would be a nice gift for indoors too. I used mine for my gnome home I made.
