I LOVE this stuff and here's why: I'm an acne sufferer with sensitive/oily skin. I DO NOT have deep acne scars anymore since I have gotten laser treatment done on my skin almost a year ago. Therefore I cannot comment on how well the product applies over scarring. But, I occasionally do still break out. The one thing I hate the most is when I buy $50 makeup that looks flawless but then the red dots start to resurface after so many hours of wear. I decided to purchase Dermablend after watching a YouTube tutorial on it. I figured why not. I've been using it for roughly a month and it's been good to me. 1). It doesnt make me break out. 2). When I apply it over a break out it DOESNT make it worse! 3). It doesnt slide off like average makeup (this is definitely all day wear kinda stuff). 4). The coverage is absolutely phenomenal. I've never in my life been complimented for having pretty skin but I am now! 5). Many foundations are notorious for having that "I can feel my makeup clogging my pores" sensation. I don't have that issue with dermablend which is good news for me because my oily skin hates everything. Here's my advice if you're planning on buying: 1. This is pretty heavy duty stuff so I wouldn't apply it every day. It might irritate your skin because it's pretty thick 2. Only use it as a concealer. I know many of us hate our skin but not letting it breathe isn't helping anyone 3. Blend Blend Blend! This isn't like your average concealer where you dab twice and done. You really have to blend it nicely or else it will look cakey. Beauty takes time ladies. 4. A little goes a very very long way. This stuff might seem sad because it comes in a very small container but trust me. It's amazing how well it spreads. A tiny tip of the finger amount was enough to cover my whole face! So, you're definitely getting your money's worth. 5. If you are planning on using it as a full face foundation the little spatula thing that comes with it is great. If you're just planning on using it as a concealer a tiny makeup brush to apply it works better. In the long run, I'd recommend this stuff to anyone. If you're curious about how it might look over acne scars do some research. I've read some reviews that say it accentuates their acne scars but I personally think it may be due to a lack of blending. This is also a possible reason why some people may think it looks cakey. Remember to blend and take your time. ... show more

This product leaves you looking exactly as you hope for. Not caked on, thin amount does job. As far as amount of product for the value…very consumer friendly. It smells nice clean not over bearing. It’s a dryer clay like consistency. Scooping/ applying the foundation from the jar looks/acts like butter. Just like butter, the form changes with heat & pressure. Ex. The Solidity of Cold Butter vs at Room Temperature Butter which ones spreadable? Dermablend initially opened behaves thicker and tougher but as it Very Quickly warms it gets more malleable. Now like cream it makes for an easy application. Results in very full all over coverage. Color matching: is easy & as long as u pick a shade near ur skin color it’s a breeze to match up to your skin color when applying. SIZE: The circumference size of the container is about the size of small orange and the depth of jar is only about 1 1/2 inches. I wish it was bigger but great product. ***I especially recommend for LGBTQ community. MTF Transgenders have hard time finding good natural looking but all over coverage. This does the job! Like butter to put on but you kinda have to hurry and put it on or it drys and when you put the powder on it leaves it caked. If you scrub your face and moisturizer it and then do it again b4 you put it on it’s not so caked looking. The fluffy fluidity of the foundation is nice. Not so greasy and I hated to say it but it doesn’t cover tattoos. That was the first thing I asked my daughter if I could test it and it was a negative. Not even a little bit.     • Hard to find, hard to know what color as colors changed. But good stuff for blemishes.
I have used this for decades. It's still good, but they changed the color classification and it's a challenge to figure out what I take now. The other. problem is that it's really hard to find all the colors and I'm in between color. So I buy one a little too dark and one a little too light and combine them when applying. It works. I fear it won't be long before they stop making it. It works so good for blemishes and lasts a good long time. If you know what color you need, you may want to stock up. I would give this a negative stars if I could. Item was the wrong skin color, and did not match up. The item was thick . It did do cover up, as it made my face appear to me caked up on with makeup. So my opinion is the product applies on easily however the color was wrong in my skin pigment. It made my face look like a ghost. I am blonde hair and blue eyes, fair skin. But no where near fair as I had imagined. This went one smoothly but looked cacked on. Wrinkles looked way worse WITH this produce. I would not ever buy this product again. Concealer was the first makeup I ever bought and I never go out without it. I have tried many, many brands. But I always come back to Dermablend as my base. I often build upon it, as with all brands- but while others sometimes look fake, Dermablend never does- and many colors to choose from.

Ordered 25N and it was a perfect match. Really good coverage for discoloration...HOWEVER this is not for people who dont have perfect texture. If your skin is dry, you will see every imperfection, crease, and pore. Looks good from far away, but up close and in the sun, your skin will look chalky.

This is a great product! It covers everything from brown spots to hyperpigmentation. The creme is heavy so you don't need much. Just blend it in and then use the setting powder after. You can use makeup over it
