There are a lot of razor blades out there of varying levels of aggression and sharpness. I tend to like blades that are a bit on the milder side. This is not that blade. These are very sharp, consistent quality blades. Your first time with a single edge? You don't want this one. You are in a rush? Use something else. You don't have your hand position or angle right? Stop! You have a tendency to push the blade? Invest in Alum, you'll need it. This is one of those blades where being slightly off will draw blood. Now, that all being said, It end result is perfectly smooth skin after an ATG pass.

Having used plastic cartridge safety razors all my life, I recently got a "Twig" razor from Leaf. These blades fit that razor perfectly. One major factor for my trying a single blade razor is I shave my head, and I've grown tired and weary of clogged cartridges. I don't have that problem now, even though the Twig is still a safety razor. While the hair...er, stubble on the top of my head is thin, the stubble on the sides and back of my scalp is thick and full. These blades slide right through all of the stubble on my head regardless of location. I've used these blades with a few kinds of shaving cream and am currently using shave soap. These blades work fine with everything I've used for lubrication. I don't have an exact number of shaves I can get out of one blade, but given that I generally stop using a blade when it starts tugging at the stubble, I find that I can comfortably get two shaves out of one blade. That's shaving my neck, a tiny bit under my jaw, my cheeks, under my nose and above my mustache, and finally my head. I get a bit of stubble tugging on the blade towards the end of the second shave. I'm confident that if I for once took my time shaving and was more careful about lubrication (i.e. using shave cream or soap at all times) I could probably eke out a third or fourth shave out of one blade. But considering I'm paying about 1/3 of the price of my old cartridge razor subscription with an Amazon Subscription of these blades, and I've calculated that I'll have blades to spare between shipments, I'm just fine only getting one or two shaves from one of these blades. The only other single edge blade I've used have been the included sample blades from Leaf, and these Derby blades feel a touch more sturdy. So long as these blades perform satisfactorily, I'll keep my subscription running for them.

I have been using these razor blades for a while now and they work really great and are sharp. I use them about once a week to line up my beard and it does a phenomenal job at getting rid of small hairs. The razors are nicely packed and work well for me. I would recommend buying them as they work as intended.

Decent blades. I like that I don't have to break double sided blades in half. Blades can be used for multiple shaves.
