I love this razor! I usually use men's razors because I always felt like they gave a closer and smoother shave and women's razors seemed to fall apart and get dull fast and of they had any kind of moisture/aloe strip they only lasted the first or second use. This razors is sharp! Gives you a close and smooth shave with no razor burn or ingrown hairs. It has a good weight to it and I love the grip of the handle because I usually drop my razor. I admittedly tried the Joy razor first bc of the cute pink option (I know, I know), but am glad I did! It's very straightforward-- sharp blades that don't rust, a moisturizing strip that works and doesn't get all gooey (I toss mine on the shower floor to get it wet and ready while I wash my hair etc prior to shaving), and each new head lasts me a good while, but I don't shave daily. I shave approx 2-3x a week, and I only use it on my legs (I use a disposable for my bikini area), and I don't use any sort of shaving cream, but I still get a super smooth and close shave, without any bumps, ingrown hairs, nicks, or redness/ irritation afterwards. My legs usually end up staying smooth for a few days, which was not always the case with me, since I'm pretty hairy overall and used to have to shave daily. I was using a pretty simple Venus one for a while but wanted to try something else and stumbled upon Joy randomly at CVS one day. I can't say for sure that these razors are why my legs stay smoother longer but I haven't changed anything else other than that I got older, so I don't know what else to attribute it to, but either way, I'm not ccomplaining! Even my boyfriend likes using my Joy razor for his face, haha! He has a Gillette Mach 3 but he told me he actually prefers my Joy razor which I found a bit surprising but also, not really, since I too love it. And at the price to buy in bulk on here, you really can't beat it. I've been very happy overall since switching to Joy a year and a half or so ago :) ... show more

The joy razors are a good buy and work well. I have not had any skin irritation, razor burn and have rarely cut myself with these razors. The razor heads also have good longevity. I ordered these replacements after trying the kit with the handle and have decided to stick with this brand so long as they keep their prices this reasonable. The handle is ergonomic and is rubberized so shaving takes less time and there is less slipping with soapy hands. ... show more
