As soon as I received and tried this new razor/blade, I knew that the Gilletes and Shicks were nowhere nearly as good. I hav thick facial hair on both sides of my face. I've used Harry's blades for months and the edge has remarkable longevity. I never put much stock in the lotion bars and other doodads used to inflate the cost. Even Harry's puts these things on the blades and they last only 3-4 shaves. The important part of my review is that the metal, the part you're really paying for, will impress you. I took off one star in the "Comfort" category but that's only for the touch-up blade on the back of the razor - the main blades are great. I have sensitive skin so it's hard for me to find a blade that won't cut my skin. These razors are gentile on my face but they still give a clean shave. I tried Dollar Shave Club blades before these and they butchered my face. I would definitely recommend giving these a try.

I've been using Harry's shaver and blades for a while now. I get a nice clean shave and I have thick stubble. Some of the other popular shavers have expensive refill blades. The blade lasts me a long time. Possibly because I don't use shaving cream, I use liquid soap and rinse the blades very well after each shave. A good rinsing keeps the blades clean and these rinse well. I'm happy that I switched to Harry's and even happier that the refill blades are around $2 and change. I do recommend trying Harry's. Harry"s razor is the best I have owned in almost 70 years of shaving! The shave is close, very smooth with no tugs or slips. It is better even than the old Wilkinson sword razor which Gillete put out of business. If you are still a blade shaver this is by far the bet on the market

I like the amount of shaves you get with each blade, but I noticed that they are not as long lasting as when they first came out but still better than other brands of blades. We know that all companies are cutting quality and corners to keep there profits the same it’s the customer that loses at the end.
