I have to give my cat 2 insulin shots daily; before this I was disposing the used needles in a Tide Pods bottle that was secure when I threw it away. This gives me a secure way to dispose of used needles in a tidy way without this large bottle on my countertop.

I just had a problem locking on the lid. However, it seems to work fine.

I'm transgender and I use this to dispose of syringes and needles used for hormone therapy. I've never used a sharps bin before, but it was rather intuitive to use. The locking mechanism is a bit confusing if you don't understand how it works, but I'm not worried about anything coming out. If you have a long syringe attached to a long needle, you'll likely need to separate the two in order for them to fit. It's really portable though, and I like that i can fit it into a sink drawer, as I live in a dorm and don't want it just sitting out. ... show more
